Mario sees the maiden get captured by DK.
Mario: Oh, no! The maiden has been captured! I must save her!

The maiden is tied up by DK
Maiden: Please don't smash him with your giant hands!
DK: No I won't. Instead I'm going to throw BARRELS at him!
Panel 3
Mario: I hope that monkey won't smash me with his giant hands. That's my only weakness.

Barrels start coming at Mario
Mario: Hey look! Barrels! I've been spending my life jumping over those!

We could put people from the forum as the characters. just put the members name on their shirt. Since it would have actual long-term characters with personalities, it would be like a real comic. We could make fun of events on the forum, or other members. (Like I leave the forum, and everyone parties at my "funeral").
And if You're afraid new users won't get the jokes, well, I can almost guarantee they don't get the ones we have now.

Yeah. That's be a good idea... except for one thing. Unless we're going to turn it into the ever-hated "crappily edited video game character sprites stolen and recolored into crappy uber characters*", we'd have to find out what EVERYBODY in the comics would look like, what they'd act like, make them into comic form, and have a not million people in said comic. As in, a major pain.

I just said we could just put their user names on them, so we wouldn't need to know what they look like. In fact, we could just do that with the same style of art we use now.
And I meant personalities on the forums, not how they act at home.
