What if there was a sub-section of SSF2 where people could post their guides?

Maybe something like:
SSF2 Forums
--SSF2 Developer Blogs
--SSF2 Guides
----SSF2 Pending Guides (people post their guides here first, then the ones which are nice are moved to SSF2 Guides.)

What do you guys think?

Considering they're only one or two people who make guides(I think I'm the only one who's actually done: could be wrong though), I think they could just be placed in another topic for now.

IMO it's just not the same.

I mean, if you spent time writing a 5-page guide, wouldn't you rather have it as a single thread that wouldn't disappear with the stream of incoming posts within a few days?

I've been to forums before where they used the Guides/ Pending Guides system, and it's generally been a productive place.

If you make a guide we can add it to the opening post of strategies. We don't need a whole section for it.

I don't think anyone looks at OPs though...

Best way to get attention is to sig it and post frequently, but a forum might work. Don't know though.

That's your opinion.

I believe most users, new and old, read the OPs. And if they don't already, they could just put in the title "Guides in the OP" or something. It's not hard to click on the first page of a topic.

Hey 135, I actually like your idea but I think it's a bit too soon for this. Everyone can feel free to post your own abbreviated guides here in the discussion topic or host more elaborate ones on an external site for now, but I don't want a section dedicated to something like this yet.
