No they dont really, the camera just zooms out if the players are separated, generally all players are always visible onscreen. All four of those games do this.

I think the parasol is pretty cool, but reducing her to a mage would be pretty a**.
Maybe if she broke the archetype like Estelle did for healing like in Vesperia, it would add more flavor to the character's moveset.

i'm curious as to whether or not Mikulio will be a mage, healer, fighter, or all three. i would have normally thought a long staff would make him a mage but leia punches a huge "NOPE" right into that.

i'm hoping for the main character to be flynn-esque with a bit of healing magic, or perhaps a jude-like healer. i don't want to have to resort to something like Luke's awful steel.

Leia's weapon is more like a pole than a staff. But eh, they're probably the same thing.

I take it you're into sword mages. I can dig it. And yeah. Xillia/2 did a decent job spreading characters out from common RPG archetypes, making the cast more enjoyable to use.

Other than that, I'm probably going to get this day one if I get some money. I still need other important titles in the series though.

the game calls most weapons either staves or rods
you might not see it as a staff though because it's not like past ones

i didn't like the look of the characters at first but they're growing on me. i would main mikulio if he used a sword or something that wasn't a staff HNNN.
i'm hoping this game has a cast of either 7 or 8 characters. maybe 9 if we're lucky. this cast feels really.. it's lacking a certain thing.

What honestly baffles me is how Ludger is involved in this storyline.

i dunno how valid that is though, this game looks totally different. if anything it'll be to xillia like symphonia was to phantasia.
