I think it's grasping to say that that exact model of Link "confirms" anything. Nintendo has updated characters before, just look at Bowser in that image. Same pose as another image of bowser, but in HD.

If anything, it's more likely that it'd be just an updated image of Link for zelda U.
it doesn't have to confirm anything

google around, Twilight Princess HD has been leaked multiple times

The fact that they made a new model for Link gives me hope that this will be different from Wind Waker HD which reused all of the original art assets just with an updated lighting engine.

I don't believe that it will. Wind Waker Link got new renders that were of a higher quality than the in game models. I also don't really think it needs it, it's gonna look really great with better lighting and HD assets.

There are some issues the game has that need ironing out and the graphics definitely need updating

It needs an updated release more than Wind Waker ever did

i feel like those issues won't be fixed without rearranging a lot of things

it's cool to have such badass items like the dominion rod and the ball and chain and use them in only one dungeon, then maybe once afterwards

you never know, they actually fixed/updated more of wind waker than i thought they were going to in HD. a lot of the changes seemed to pretty directly address the popular complaints about the game, too. it would definitely be interesting to see what they change up.

the things i mentioned would need dungeon re-arrangements though, or a lot of extra content

unless they did that in WWHD? kinda doubt it though

I don't think it's -too- unlikely that they'll throw in some additional bonus side-dungeons that make more use of the tools to be honest.

i wouldn't be too surprised but after OOT, MM, and WW's remakes not having any additional dungeons, i wouldn't hold my breath

wind waker hd wasn't a remake, it was a port with a few touch-ups

ocarina of time doesn't need any extra dungeons when the standard game already has enough and the 3DS version includes master quest

adding anything major to majora's mask would probably f*** the whole game up because it's balanced around the side quests and the clock more than the dungeons

don't get me wrong, I don't think they'll add anything substantial to a TP rerelease but the past examples aren't exactly good ones

i agree, but they weren't just, like, the same boss fight but made easier. (well goht kinda was)
gyorg was literally a whole new fight and twinmold had several different phases to the fight that weren't there before.

I'm glad there's someone who saw a good side to these changes because I want to nuke Aonuma for making them.
I really don't like his team at all actually. Reading the Iwata Asks made me hate the whole team who worked on Majora's Mask

i hate almost every single change in MM3D lmao, i'm just bringing them up to suggest that making changes to the issues with TP might not be out of the question for a remake
