Also found this in game.

If you start pound in the air, and you touch the ground before the actual pound starts, you go twice the distance.

Not sure if it was intentional or not, but I'm coining the name "super pound".

Yeah. Even if you don't use downward pound, if you start the pound almost instantly when you land, you'll do the "super pound" and go way further than a normal pound. As for it being intentional, I'm not sure. If it is, it's smart. If it isn't, I hope they don't get rid of it.

It's preferable to angle downwards ever so slightly above ground since there is the off-chance you double hit and it's a near instantaneous Shieldbreak

It is an instant shieldbreak if you hit the shield, hit the ground, and then hit the shield again.
But that's insanely hard to do.

I'm getting used to the jigglypuff changes, and I must say, bair is much more potent.

The headband costume was truly the best.

All the jiggly puff combos I've seen end in rest. Obviously rest is a great way to end a combo but I'd like to see a combo ending in either singing at the ledge and the opponent falls into it before falling or singing off stage and dragging the opponent down with you. It's not like suicide combos haven't been done before. Would either of these possibly work?

plus i think dthrow is a guaranteed chaingrab against :fox:, :falco:, and maybe other fastfallers or heavies, at least until rest percents
and uthrow uair doesn't work as well for fox as it does in melee
:jigglypuff: might actually beat spacies

I'm not a Jigglypuff main, but I did find a glitch for the character...

i've noticed Jigglypuff does a real s q u i s h when crouching, and i wondered...

How much does it actually help with avoiding incoming attacks and grabs?

research i guess: show
:mario: Can still be grabbed, out of vertical range of his DownB, nothing else i've noticed. EDIT: Up-Smash misses from behind, FSmash's sourspot misses
:luigi: Crouching avoids being grabbed, also gets out of range from his F-Smash, F-Tilt, and Up-Tilt, DownB doesn't hit either, SideB may or not hit (depends on distance, charge, and whether he started it mid-air or on ground)
:peach: Out of grab range, SideB doesn't hit, thrown turnips always miss at close range (Oddish always hits Jiggs, ray gun misses, beam sword hits, Mr. Saturn hits unless very close to Peach, no need to mention the bob-omb), up-tilt doesn't hit even when jiggs is standing still
:bowser: Can still be grabbed, up-tilt can only hit jigglypuff behind bowser, Up-Smash completely misses, UpB surprisingly also completely misses, grounded DownB misses on the initial hit only
:yoshi: Can still be grabbed, NeutralB misses, Up-Smash misses if in front of Yoshi (and hits when behind or right on yoshi)
:wario: Still gets grabbed, Up-Smash, Up-Tilt and FTilt completely miss, UpB also misses when done on ground
:donkeykong: Out of grab range, up-tilt misses in the front, no need to mention up-smash missing, UpB misses
:link: Out of grab range when up close (but still grabs at its full range), Up-Smash misses from behind, arrows and bombs (separately or together) miss when at closer ranges, Boomerang misses if thrown forward or angled up (but still hits when coming back)
:zelda: Out of grab range, Up-Smash, Up-Tilt and F-Tilt misses
:sheik: Out of grab range, Second part of F-Smash misses, first part of up-tilt misses, NeutralB completely misses on ground
:captainfalcon: Out of grab range, Up-Smash, F-Smash, and F-Tilt completely miss, UpB misses too (though why'd you use it on ground)
:pikachu: Can grab jigglypuff, SideB misses when Pikachu is mid-air (but not when launching or falling to the floor), and nothing else misses due to his short height
:jigglypuff: Can still grab, up-smash misses, and nothing else does
[Pichu] Can grab jigglypuff, normal SideB misses completely, and nothing else misses too
:kirby: Can grab jiggs, Up-Smash misses from behind, nothing else again
:metaknight: Can grab jigglypuff and none of his attacks can miss on a crouching Jiggs
:bandanadee: Grabs jigglypuff, Up-smash misses, UpB misses, SideB is only slightly easier to avoid
:fox: :falco: Both still grab jigglypuff, Fox's Up-Tilt misses, both's F-Tilt only hits when up close
:samus: Out of grab range, Uncharged shots miss, Super Missiles miss without having to crouch, homing missiles miss at a closer range, the first part of F-Smash misses (but the explosion still hits), Up-Smash and F-Tilt miss completely
:zerosuitsamus: Out of grab range, UpB, SideB, NeutralB, F-Tilt, Up-Tilt and Dash Attack miss completely, EDIT: F-Smash misses when further away
:ness: can grab jigglypuff, the only ground move that completely misses is his Up-Tilt, everything else lands a hit
:marth: out of grab range, NeutralB misses, EDIT: Up-Tilt and Jabs miss from behind
:pit: out of grab range, Up-Tilt, and Up-Smash misses, NeutralB misses if the arrows just go forward
:isaac: Jigglypuff still gets grabbed, NeutralB, SideB (without inputs), F-Tilt and Up-Smash misses
:chibirobo: misses the grab if near its full range (but due to his unique ability of angleable grabs, this won't really count), NeutralB and UpB misses
:gameandwatch: Can grab jigglypuff, Up-Smash misses, Up-Tilt only hits in front of him
:sonic: Still grabs jigglypuff, none of his ground attacks other than up-tilt misses
:tails: Still grabs jiggs, SideB and Up-Smash misses
:megaman: Can still grab jigglypuff, NeutralB-1,2, and 3 (at close range) and SideB misses, F-Smash and Up-Smash completely miss
:pacman: surprisingly out of grab range (guess the grab does not match the animation), Melon misses while at its highest points, while the Orange, Galaxian and Key only misses if it's being held as item THEN thrown (rather than directly thrown from NeutralB), Hydrant's water misses, Up-Tilt misses from the front
:lloyd: Can grab jigglypuff, Up-Smash misses without having to crouch, Up-Tilt misses from behind, UpB misses
:bomberman: Can't grab jiggs, Up-Tilt misses completely and Up-Smash is only more difficult to land
:blackmage: grabs jigglypuff, Up-Tilt and Up-Smash miss completely, no other ground moves seem to miss
:sora: Can't grab Jigglypuff, only his Up-Smash misses
:goku: Can't grab jigglypuff, SideB and NeutralB (except full charge) misses, UpB also misses if done grounded, all non-kaioken smash attacks miss (Kaio Up-Smash still misses), aswell as all tilts (including kaioken) but down
:luffy: Can't grab jigglypuff neither normally or through NeutralB, SideB still grabs though, F-Smash misses, F-Tilt and Up-Tilt miss too
:naruto: Can't grab jiggs, Rasengan and Rasenshuriken projectile both miss (Rasenshuriken's initial stun in front of naruto still hits), Up-Tilt misses from behind
:ichigo: Also unable to grab jigglypuff, Dash attack misses, Up-Tilt and Up-Smash misses at the front instead
:sandbag: Can grab jigglypuff, SideB misses in similar fashion to Tails, Up-Smash misses and nothing else

So far, Jigglypuff's crouch helps avoiding getting grabbed by the following characters:
:luigi: :peach: :donkeykong: :link: (sorta) :zelda: :sheik: :captainfalcon: :samus: :zerosuitsamus: :marth: :pit: :pacman: :bomberman: :sora: (at least pre-1.2? we'll find out if that changes) :goku: :luffy: (sorta) :naruto: :ichigo:

Well, old friends, this is the day where everything will be archived for all to see and reminisce about.
This isn't a farewell, but rather a "See you later", as we move on to the next world

who'd've guessed my secondaries bit would have a new purpose!

Can't the same/similar be said for Kirby? they have basically the same crouch.

I'll give it a go too, perhaps even test how much does crouching help for every other character in comparison to shielding/dodging, but of course will post it in their respective threads

Funny idea:
In Pokémon, Jigglypuff can learn both Gravity and Giga Punch
Imagine if that was in smash?
