Black Mage has a bit of a glitch-y time in Hidden Leaf. If you ledge attack with him on the left ledge, and you get his alternate attack with the sword, he'll glitch on the upper platform since he hasn't reached the ground yet. And he'll be like this until he gets hit.

It's not even like that, since if it was something in a stage I do mind, I would probably report it. But Hidden Leaf is boring af.

Yeah. Hidden Leaf is only fun when there's at least 3 people. Preferably 4 for the best time. Same with Crateria. The map is okay I guess, but matches are so awkward to start there. It just feels weird fighting there.

Atleast Crateria is getting a nice revamp Right now, I still think the Haste Nerf was too much but you guys get my point already anyway... But STOP, I think STOP isn't too useful for BM... It's like a non-damaging, weaker, slower, smaller range, non-projectile Salus Paralyzer... It's not bad, just... not good enough I think it deserves a buff after the Haste and Meteo nerf

Right now I just want Stop's freeze to not be hitlag so people can't SDI out of fully-charged fsmash combos.

Stop is amazing, if you think it's bad you really don't know a thing about the character And Beta Haste is fine, idk why so many people talk about the move being send to oblivion when it looks pretty good in combination with everything in BM's kit. And what Code said. Paralyzer not being SDI-able but Stop being it feels unfair for me

To be fair, Stop is still much bigger than any Paralyzer move and the charge can be saved AND the stun is longer. Even if it can be SDI'd it still gives you a major punish opportunity. I think it's kind of cool that, through SDI, a proactive player can make it harder to follow up on them, so what if you can't just fully charge a move that keeps you stationary, you could just Haste or aerial. I know I blew one guy's mind at SSC when I SDI'd Stop like a madman to avoid his fsmash.
Still though, it would be a nice quality of life change. So now you can get completely guaranteed (instead of mostly guaranteed) followups off of a massive, chargeable move that can be used in a jump without losing any momentum, that locks people in shield if they try to block!

The thing is: It shouldn't be safe on block. And it's extremely easy to see a charged Stop incoming since the only situations were you can get it are in Star/Screen KO or when you send the opponent far away, and you'll be wasting the chance to edeguard it. An uncharged Stop gives good reward but it's pretty risky if the opponent is aware of it. Also is the only move that once charged cannot be charged any further, which makes mix ups harder compared to others. But thanks for the sarcasm anyway, totally helped out.

I was foiled again, I see...
Maybe a trade-off could be beneficial?
Also, I just realized that Alpharad spams Beta Spear-Copter just lie how he used to spam 0.9b Haste... and they were both against Turvis... poor Turvis...
BTW, RIP 0.9b (rest in patch 0.9b) Black Mage, you were taken too soon...
On that note, since I can't YouTube anymore, has anyone noticed any actual BUFFS in BM? So far I only see 720 nerfs and that Haste "Buff" which gave it kill power...

You can store Stop's charge now! (Unless you could do that somehow in 0.9b, I never figured it out) ...That's it.

You can in v0.9b too. Just press shield while charging. You can't store more, though: once you press Stop again, you'll just do the move with no chance to charge.
