not all parents deserve respect especially ones who were barely around which is mostly dads.

If it wasn't for your dad you would not be alive. Be grateful you can see him at all when a lot of people their lose both their parents at an early age.

Dark - Learn to respect your elders and not say stupid f*** stereotypes. The mother can run out just as easy as the father. You can't say your parents don't deserve respect, that's the prepubescent logic showing. Everyone has done something somewhere which has earned them respect. Children should automatically respect ALL adults, regardless of if they're there or not. Respect=/=liking.

Dark again - If you "despise" your entire family, and you look up to fictional characters and think so highly of them, that latter part alone says you know nothing at all about life.
