This is going over your head. Ridley was already huge in Brawl. Therefore, if he re-appears, he will -stay- huge. Nobody in Brawl has changed in size before and they're unlikely to be changing now. Crusade, SSF2, SSF, and any other Smash clones do not and will not change how this works.

Why? Nobody's changed before, because there was no reason to change them before. Just because it hasn't happened doesn't mean it can't happen. Saying "SSB4 will never have Ridley because no character has changes sizes before" is like saying "SSB3 will never have third party characters because none have ever been added before."

How do those two come close to being equal? We're comparing a character that's been introduced and solidified in the current Smash canon with an unknown variable. Its like saying a Queen of Hearts is equivalent to the Red Joker because they're the same color.

This. TerminX I hope you're joking because that was an incredibly stupid argument. Sakurai takes great pride in establishing and maintaining the universe of smash bros, and this is one of those things that just wont happen because it deviates MUCH too far from his norm.

Because we don't know if the "canon smash universe" is even a thing or not
And if it is, we don't know if Sakurai's willing to stretch it. Those are unknown variables.
If it turns out that the games are somehow connected and everything has to be a certain way, then okay whatever
But you know, maybe this is a casual fighting game about mixing Nintendo stuff together and Sakurai will do whatever he wants with it
