A stage controlled by a player would actually be pretty cool, really. I could imagine somebody controlling an inside Bowser stage or something like that, maybe with the gamepad?

Asymmetric gaming, right? Could make for a very interesting mode, as long as your friend doesn't have a personal vendetta against you... How about something like New Super Mario Bros. U, where you and your friends can run along platforms in the new Subspace Emissary, or the Tablet User can throw enemies and traps at you competitively?

Actually i would like it if Bowser could shoot fireballs with his NSpecial instead of the fire breath. Since in the Mario games he uses fireballs more often than breath. Or possibly have both, like if you tapped the button versus holding it.

Mario&Luigi already have the fireballs covered, so I'm okay with Bowser having Fire Breath instead.

I always wanted alternate movesets for all the characters. Fireballs came to mind when I was making one for Bowser. Unfortunately, now I know about the wonderful world of competitive balance. So, speaking of moveset changes, you guys think anyone is going to get a new/updated move?
