And I've been thinking Kid Icarus would likely get a second rep since day one, when they showed that series along with a bunch of other more "important" series (it's the only of the eight series in the reveal trailer with only one Brawl rep). I was wondering, why not Fire Emblem or Wario? Maybe KI will have another rep?

And if KI gets another character, it's gotta be Palutena. I think you could argue about whether Palutena or Hades should be included if Uprising was the only game in the series, but Palutena was also in the NES game, and just happened to make a couple of appearances in Brawl (how many other npcs were in the SSE?)

Magnus is nice, but...He doesn't really have that much of a key role. I wouldn't mind him being in the game as long as he comes in with, and not instead of another KI:U character. Gameplay-wise he could be interesting though.
If Palutena is in the game, I'm not sure what moves she could use, although I can imagine her gameplay being somehow similar to Zelda's. A floaty character that uses magic a lot, with probably more ranged attacks though.
