the game is very balanced. it's certainly not perfect but it won't ever be

tbh I think with a roster as big as Smash 4's you're always gonna end up with characters that are inherently worse or better imo. It's difficult to balance big rosters.

No it really isn't.

Literally the majority of the low tiers aren't that viable or just plain suck. Marth/lucina, Ganon, Samus (especially her), and even mewtwo (nobody picked him at EVO at all) and shulk (his frame data is HORRIBLE) are all pretty bad characters who not many people use because...well....they suck. They clearly need buffs otherwise they won't be able to hold their own in a tournament setting.

In comparison to the overpowered top tiers such as rosalina, ness, possibly yoshi (note the possibly), and luigi have far too many advantages and get far too much reward for the BS they can do (especially Rosalina).

This game may be more balanced than previous smash games, but its still unbalanced. And it has even LESS reason to be unbalanced since it has patches. I like smash 4, but saying its balanced would be a lie tbh cause there's just too many balancing issues that this game has.

Yeah I agree, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't make an effort to balance the game better cause some characters just aren't good....at all (to the point where he/she is unusable) or are ridiculously overpowered.

if you can't challenge yourself by using a "bad" character to beat "good" characters then what's the point

then again that's a problem with the s*** community more than anything else, look at melee, all everyone ever does is dickride the players because they can't do that with the characters because everyone uses the same old s***

Personally i ignore tiers and just use characters i like, for example, i mained lucas in brawl, when he returned in sm4sh 4 i didn't really care that is got higher tier, cause he is a character that is overall fun to use, if a game was perfectly balanaced, would the characters have much difference?

Any game that has Luigi as a top tier character is an excellent game in my book.

I've seen some good yoshis on youtube once for twice, but they aren't that common.
