I guess the staff thinks it's funny or something... or maybe there's an underlying secret about it... 999 is 666 upside down... the characters have their souls stolen by demonic beasts... it's set in a post apocalyptic world where we have already been destroyed, possibly by our own self loathing set upon us by Satan himself... 9 is the devil!!
