Hello everybody.
I have discovered SSF a few months ago then I later found the demos for SSF2, and I can even say that the version 0.3 is already much better than the first SSF (especially because that when we play with other humans on SSF 1 only the player 1 has the camera and it's hard to play without seeing where we are). I have Macromedia Flash 8 since nearly 2 years and loved this software, and when I saw that there is flash support here, I joined the forums My dream was to make a game like SSF or the well known flash games AdventureQuest and DragonFable, but the problem is that I have no idea about how to make most of the scripts, and the only ones I am used with are gotoandplay, gotoandstop, stop and stopallsounds (and using the script assist) so I get all the informations I need from the internet (I now know how to control objects with keys even if I didn't memorise the scripts, just saved them on notepad) I am also interested in 3D modeling and animation so I am beginnning with Maya Autodesk, Adobe Director and NaturalMotion Endorphin. I sometimes hack games using Cheat Engine (but I don't hack SSF), and I have a good knowledge about game hacking then (no, I'm not an illegal hacker who crashes websites and steal money online). I have been in a lot of forums and know about Vbulletin, phpbb, mybb, forumotion, etc. and administrated and moderated most of them. I am also participating in the developpement of a small but growing community, ZetoX, at http://zetox.net (I'm not advertising here) Anyway, I guess I'll enjoy these forums. (Also, if you wish to make a game, I have an idea but it's ot the best but anyone can do it. 2 words: RPG Maker. Start with RPGM VX then go to 2003 or XP once you're skilled. Trust me...
