She is clad in that sort of suit for the same reason gymnasts or swimmers are at the Olympics: So she can retain her full range of mobility (and on a side note, because it's a futuristic environment as well) . It wouldn't make sense to put her in a robe, or to a lesser degree jeans and a sweater, because she wouldn't be able to fully utilize her Chozo training, and she'd light them on fire with her rocket boots. It's not like the Zero Suit is the only thing she wears either. In Other M(?) she wears a military out fit. And why is she skinny and tone? Because she's naturally athletic. Even if she was naturally chubby because of genetics her taking care of her self keeps her thin and healthy. That's why people are outwardly attracted to fit people by the way, because they look healthy, and a health mate means healthy offspring, people do still retain animal instincts after all. So she isn't thin TO sexualize her, she is generally more attractive because she is healthy.

So her design is based in both real logic and game logic.

By the way, in her respective games none of the male characters make sexual jokes at her expense, and no female characters complain about her being too attractive, so the only one trying to make her a sexualized object is: You.

Anyways Healthy=Attractive, that's coincidental. And honestly I'd prefer media to have healthy examples to people to look up than unhealthy examples. If they happen to be attractive because of that, well that's just a bonus.

Honestly I'd be fine with it. I was actually disappointed that I couldn't use stickers in versus, even as just a Special Brawl. I like games were you can pick a play style, then season it to taste. So if you were expecting to pull the rug, I'm the wrong guy.
