So it seems that everyone is very anxious and excited for the forthcoming patch (ver. 1.1), especially the competitive community due to the balancing changes that they look forward to. However, I have had and still do have my reservations on whether these changes will ease with wishes of some people in the competitive community since they tend to have this.... phobia of failure when it comes to dealing with high and top tier characters in the game. I know this mentality doesn't identify everyone in the competitive scene but from what I've seen, it still tends to persist, which is why I made this poll.

Do you think SSF2's forthcoming patch, ver. 1.1, will quell the problems and complaints of the SSF2 competitive community?

I thought Beta would quell the problems with 9b's community.

I was only right to an extent. Our current community is tamer than 9b's, but that really isn't saying much; better than abysmal is still pretty damn bad. And I don't really have any confidence that it can get any better than this at this stage.

Anyways I hope 1.1 isn't rushed. Considering we already have a fully functional game, a polished patch would be preferable to a glitchy mess.
