Barbas looked over from his bed. "Who the hell are you?" He questioned, getting up and grabbing his bow and ready to fire with the arrow which leaned against it.

"I'm sorry..I thought...this was my......room."


Barbas slowly lowered his bow, not taking his sight off the man. "How do you just stumble into the wrong room?" He asked. "Wait.. I think I've seen you before." he said with thought.

Julius nearly freaked out, a bow aimed at him and lowered, but he still starred.

"How do you just stumble into the wrong room? Wait.. I think I've seen you before."

"My....my room is...ri...right next to this one..I...I...I think." Julius stuttered. "I..don't...be..believe we've met b..before."

Julius was afraid of this man, something about him scared him, it might have just been the bow and arrow thing though.

Barbas shook his head. "No no, I don't think we've met. I just think I've seen you." He stated. "Perhaps at the party? where you there?" He asked, scratching his chin. "Yeah, that's probably it." He got up from the bed, looking at the man. "Are you going to leave now?" He questioned.

"I...I wasn't in the party, I went to check on it to see...what was up." he said calming down. "Um...yes, i'll.....leave now...sorry about the interruption." He said patting the back of his head.

"Meh, don't worry about it." He said, putting his bow back against the wall and laying on the bed once more. "Shut the door on your way out." He stated, relaxing.

Julius did just that and walked out of the room and into the next one, which was the right room. As he entered he closed the door and lay on the bed and sighed. His back ached a little yet and he knew what kind of impression he made on Charisma, she probably thought he was some kind of creep who meant only ill will. He didn't like giving off these kind of things. He cursed his social awkwardness and starred at the ceiling.

Barbas jumped, he heard a noise from outside. "The hell was that?" He questioned, grabbing his bow and stock of arrows. He placed it upon his back, walking out of his room then out of the Inn. He looked around, knowing it wasn't his imagination.

It was too quiet outside, an arrow shot out at Barbas and missed him just barely, across his face was a cut, showing he had been hit. Julius ran outside with his sword, hearing the commotion as well and the thud.

"What's going on?" He asked and then spotted movement. Something was going on.

Barbas blinked as his skin was cut. Blood slowly oozing from it. He turned, eyes closed. He opened them when he was fully turned around, bow ready. "No idea." He replied, looking about.

There was more silence and then a building was set ablaze. Julius looked around as he saw an archer on another and watched as he fired, Julius taking the arrow to the chest, only being spared due to his strong leather armor. He stumbled back into the wall and tried to catch his breath. Ice fang solider's soon ran out from whatever they were doing and ran out to fight an unknown opponent. It looked like some dragon fang were in the mix, but there were others, some unrecognizeable.

Barbas instinctively ran, climbing onto a nearby building. He was ready. He fired a shot the a spot below, testing the wind. He was prepared for the worst, and ready to fire at anything that he deemed dangerous.


Charisma heard the commotion outside, looking out her window and seeing the fire. She ran out of her house, looking around. She had no clue what was going on.

Barbas climbed the building not realizing someone was already on it. Before he knew it, he was grabbed, taken hostage, a knife pointed at his throat.

"What do we have here, a mercenary?" The masked assailant said. "Heh....interesting...could you be the same one who struck down Garret's brother."

Julius looked around seeing what he could do, before he knew it an axe wielding warrior was dashign at him, clocked in black, little armor showing. Julius barely dodged the madman and found himself running the guy through. He looked around.

"I got to get out of here....I'll be killed at this rate."

Another building was set ablaze as another collapsed, the echoing of steel was heard all throughout the village. A stray arrow was fired and grazed past Charisma, not hitting her but nearly. As this happened a sword wielder walked by and spotted her, and began to approach.

Barbas dropped his bow, now only holding the arrow. He used the arrows as a dagger, stabbing at the mans head as he tried to break free from his grip. "You won't be killing me that easy." He would say before he had done anything.


Charisma was scared. It showed in her face, and her eyes. "Who.. Who are you?" She asked, backing away from the man. "Are... Are you with Dragon Fang?" She asked, taking out her book from her robe.

The man stumbled back, nicking Barbas in the process, not seriously though. He held his head.

"Crafty f***!" He shouted in pain as held the wound with one hand.

"Doesn't matter much to you hun." The man said. "You'll be dead soon enough. A sword through the heart, it'll be relativly painless." He began to rush at her. Julius over heard this going on and moved to help out. Barely avoiding a fireball aimed at him by another mage as he moved, setting the inn at which he stayed on fire.

Barbas didn't stop, he too another arrow and fired point blank. Awaiting a spew of blood from the man's face. He would smirk, feeling satisfied as he looked below. "That girl." He muttered to himself.


Charisma shuffled through her book. She muttered something under her breath, holding out her hand. Lightning flew from it, at the man's chest. She would look up from her book, that same fear still in her eyes.
