The two dragons landed in the village letting out a loud roar. The large one crashed into and crushed a building while the other landed in front of the group. He brought his head back, as if to snap, glaring, seeing who was weakest. The best prey.

Tekun had his blade ready. He wondered where Gabriel had gone off too. It was better then him getting in the way. He waited, watching the dragon. "Tara, where are you?" He muttered, hoping she was neary to help. He had lost track of her through all the chaos.

"Yea, I wouldn't kill you." Leon said. "I'd probably get lonely traveling alone." he joked walking out, not noticing the archer in the tree, he sheathed his blade and continued out, looking for a place to spend the night. "Where do we head now?"

"We can't let them fight alone though!" Eton said. "I won't let them die! Even if we can just distract them, we'll be helping." He exclaimed. "Look for a weapon on the way."

"Charisma can." Julius said. "Look, just hand it over, why do you have to have such an attitude towards me. Did I really do something to piss you off?" He asked, confused about why he was so stingee.

"Hm.." Lex had noticed movement in the nearby tree with his keen eyes, but decided not to point it out as it may provoke an unwanted attack. "I don't know, perhaps we should go back to our previous campsite.. seeing as you won't let me raid the tavern for drinks..." He kept his eyes on the tree, acting as casual as possible.

J held his right hand out to Julius, signifying that he wanted him to pay him for the tome. "It's in my possession, and you did hire me. I want money for it." he simply stated. "If not, I'll keep it and go back to reading my damn book, which you interrupted earlier." he sounded even more pissed than he was earlier.

"I understand what you mean Eton, and even though I don't get along with most of the people in the group, I'll help them for now." she told him, looking for a good spot to land where thye couldn't get killed by the dragons right away.

Zesper was thrown from the back winged horse when it caught sight of the three dragons. He flew through the air, then with a "clank", landed on all fours a few feet from the mountain of bodies that was now ablaze, flames sprouting from various corpses. Because of the debris thrown about by the less then convenient arrival of the trio of dragons, Zesper was, at the moment, unable to see his "allies". But what he could see, was not a comforting sight. A dragon had landed no more then a few yards away from him.

As he stared up at the sneering monster's head in wonder, he asked himself "What could of brought the Dragons here, to the Black Horizon?" But as he inhaled, the putrid smell of burning flesh answered his question. Zesper pounded his fist into the ground, angry at himself for luring the beasts into the village by the smell. He was thankful for the cloud of dust that obscured anybody's view of his weak moment. Suddenly Zesper snapped his attention back to the situation at hand. He started so summarize the recent events "Two dragons... No wait, three dragons have entered the village. One is in front of us, the other crashed into a nearby structure. I'm not sure what happened to the third one... I must of lost sight of it when I was thrown off that blasted horse... Those fools better not be trying to take on those beasts... I was stupid enough to try before..." The sudden memory that entered Zesper's mind pained him, as he lowered his head to stare at the ground, gritting his teeth. Slowly, he rose to stand on two feet, his gnarled cape flapping furiously in the wind caused by the dragon's wings. When he went to grab for his sword at his right side, he was alarmed to find that it was gone. It must of fallen off him when he was flung off the Pegasus. Zesper frantically looked about for where it could of possibly landed, but all the ash and dust in the air hindered his search.

He was about to retreat because of the lack of a weapon, when out of the corner of his eye, something caught his attention. A single longsword lay in the pile of bodies, the once grayish-silver metal, turned black by the fire and smoke. It was a little longer then most swords of it's kind, being about five feet long. It was quite decorative too, it's handle and hilt engraved with bat-wing patterns. Most likely used by the higher-ups. "I'm not really one for long swords, I'm a bastard sword man myself... but this is no time to be picky..." Zesper quickly thrust his armored hand into the fire to retrieve the sword, thankful that the gauntlets gave him protection from the heat. He gave the sword a few shakes and ran his clawed finger across the edges, testing it's weight and sharpness. Satisfied with the results, he slowly walked through the fog of debris to see if he could help get his allies out of there, putting a stern look on his face, to mask the true fear he had for dragons.

His eyes widened in fear. Dust filled the air as the fierce creatures landed. The debris effectively obscured Nechis' vision. His mouth sucked in the parched air, covering his tongue in a dry crust of grit. He tried to see beyond the filth to get a better view of what the assailants were, but to no avail. The young man, in this confused state, never foresaw the next event. He had been hunched over behind the pegasus when a loud cry hit the air. It appeared that it could see better than he could, for it had caught sight of the brutes. A hoof immediately caught him in the stomach, sending Nechis soaring backwards. All the air encased in his lungs expelled out his agape mouth as the hit connected. He made a rugged landing in the dirt and skid further for five feet. The landing had not had a positive effect on his body. Wounds on his back opened again, covering what was left of his shirt in a shade of scarlet. In the current state, he was all but immobile. The young man layed on the ground, trying to refill his lungs. It seemed that this was the end of his journey. His hands dropped slowly to the ground. He couldn't breath, and his back was bleeding to no end. Without the energy to stop that, it was impossible that he lived through this. The slow, agonizing moments seemed to last an eternity. It was without warning that the crust was lifted off his tongue, and air rushed in to inflate his lungs. Breath had never tasted this good. His mind awakened again, and he became aware to what he had to do. Putting his scraped palms onto the dirt, he pushed with all he had to get up. The scraps that were left of the back of his shirt were no sufficient in stopping the blood flow. He turned his shirt around, and tied the remains of the back of the shirt, now in the front, together. It wasn't a perfect fix, but it would have to do for now. He peered down at his axe, and noticed how close it was to impaling him on his fall. Surely something divine had approved of him. Confidence had returned to Nechis, and he was ready to do his best to help the others. His axe was stained with his own bloodshed, but it mattered not. He readied himself, then began a slow march towards the others, hoping that his help would be sufficient.

Emptiness quickly filled the air, thicker than the dust and debris. Nechis' breathing slowed, and so did everything else, it seemed. He shifted his gaze towards where he thought the group was, but saw nothing. These moments dragged on, when suddenly the only sense that mattered to the young man was his hearing. A cry had met his ears, and it was inhumane. Surely their foe was dead. He knew not of who had done this, but it brought a smile to his face. He was a little disappointed that he wasn't able to offer his help though. Thinking that it was over, he picked up the pace as well as he could and came towards the group. The axeman stood still in his tracks as he heard something else. It was still not human in nature, but it was not of distress. There was another fiend. He knew that his help was needed now more than ever. Pushing past his current capacity, adrenaline powered his movements as he closed in on the group.

The dragon reared it's head and staired at Zesper, it's yellow eyes glaring at him, it gave a nice grin, it smelled fear. A perfect target. It looked at Nechis, he bled all over himself, cut by his axe after being thrown off the pegasus. It contemplated a plan, it lunged forward towards Nechis, but the turned it's head and opened wide, biting down on Zesper, it's fangs tearing through his armor and injuring, it then lifted him up and attempted to crack down and shatter that armor and then tear the former wyvern rider appart.

The other in the meanwhile began to scout out prey as well. It's yellow eye's spyed a pegasus, a rider on it carrying an unconscious shaman upon it.

Tekun saw the dragon clamp down on Zesper and acted quickly, he twirled his blade and darted towards the Dragon's extended neck. If he could hit hard enough, he might be able to kill it. Eton hoped off and rushed towards the beast as well and ran toward's Zesper. He gripped his dagger tight, planning on taking one of it's eyes. He needed to help.

"Maybe, damn, you made me put out that fire, that'll be a b**** to put back up ya know." Leon said and crossed his arms.

Julius grumbled, he had a lack of funds and couldn't spend much on things, he looked at Charisma and then Alice and then sighed. Perhaps they had some input on this.

Barbas came to a conclusion, he would start another fire and get some more rest for the night. He would need to find more wood, and it would cost him another arrow, but he needed the rest. He limped over to a nearby tree to see some fallen branches. Grabbing them, he walked back over to where he had made the first fire. Still warm, but no sign of fire. He threw the branches onto the pile. using another one of the fire imbued arrows to start a second fire. He let out a sigh, taking off his shirt once more and folding it as he did before to lay his head on it. Slowly drifting to sleep, he and reflecting on the day yet again.

Charisma sighed at the man. "Well, I'm sure we can just make a fire like we did last time, Julius. But, I think we need to get further away from Dragon Fang." Sighing again, and thinking with a confused look on her face. "Do we even need this guy?" She asked, leaning into Julius' ear and mumbling just loud enough for him to hear her speak. "I mean, he's a complete prick."

The man was bleeding and bruised. His determination puzzled even he, because even in his state, there was no stopping himself. His torn body fluidly moved on its own. He kept trudging towards the group, in a daze. Scarlet liquid trickled down his back. The remainder of the shirt had almost soaked in its full capacity, and soon the blood would effortlessly roll down the skin. The dust had cleared vastly, allowing the young man a view at just what he was facing. The massive dragon was peering right at him, as if lost in thought. Nechis coughed, covering his bare chest in pus. It was quite apparent that today was his last day on the planet, unless something was to help him get through this. Letting out an exasperated chuckle, he continued through the dirt. He stared right back at the dragon's dark eyes. Without warning, the beast lunged forward. It was obvious to the orange haired man that it would make contact. His heart rate increased greatly, sending more blood out of his cuts. He gripped his axe tightly, and held it directly in front of him, in hopes of catching the fiend in the roof of it's mouth in its mad lunge.

To his great surprise, the teeth passed his embodiment narrowly, only to meet with the cavalier. It seemed to have caught the former rider by surprise. The sharp fangs appeared to rip through the armor, and if nothing was done, this man would die as well. Nechis found no reason to save this stranger from death, as it was him that had brought this upon himself. However, it was quite clear that it would go after him next. It was better to dispatch the beast now, and let less human bloodshed pass. If the man wasn't already dead, it would be of great benefit if he survived, as if Nechis distracted it, without further help, he would be brought to a swift end. The orange haired man carefully made a plan for his further doings. Slowing his breathing, he quickly removed the back of the shirt, expelling fumes of blood to mix with the ones of the corpses. In hope that this would attract the enemy, he held the blood stained shirt right in front of him, concealing the hidden axe he held firmly behind it. He shifted his gaze up at the dragon, then directly to his side to see that Tekun was running towards the beast. "Don't do it, Tekun. Your life is far too valuable for you to run recklessly into battle." he said calmly, making sure that his heart rate would not elevate, as anymore blood lost would result in certain death.

OOC: Hes not Dead....i would have made that clearer.

Julius looked at Charisma and then approached.

"He knows the way to the next town, but i'm about ready to drop his a**. He's really begining to bother me." Julius whispered to her. "You want that fire tome, i'm sure you could use it."

Leon looked about and saw a light in the distance.

"Screw out campsight, I think that's one over there, think it's worth a shot?"

Charisma had thought for a brief moment. "No," she replied. "He found it, he can have it, I probably wouldn't be able to get it to work anyway." She was not confident in her abilities as a mage, it was obvious by now. She was also trying to avoid any conflict between the two. Julius was already clearly annoyed by the man, and he didn't seem to care to get along with Julius.
