"Attempt to climb the wall and you'll be shot. Don't press your luck." Rungo said. "I won't hesitate to man handle you If need be."

A loud wolf how echoed through the night piercing through the howling wind of the blizzard.

"There's your reason to stay." Rungo said. "You leave now and the only thing people will be able to see is your blood in this white out."



Eton got up and began to head inside only to bump into a girl in a robin blue cloak. Eton fell back and landed on his rear and looked up to her. He felt embaressed.

"I'm terrib-" He sneezed again. "Terribly sorry. I wasn't paying attention."

Barbas gritted his teeth. "You're of no help. You think I fear death?" He asked. "I can take care of myself, let me out of here, open the gates just enough for me to get through. If you are so strong, you're town won't be endangered by having the gate open for a few seconds."

Tania reached down and helped to pull the man back up "Oh it's no problem at all" she said kindly, she curtsied. "My name is Tania. It is a pleasure to...bump into you" she giggled at her own joke.

She had traveled far and great from her lands of origin, the frosty climate keeping her from daring to venture any further for the time being. This village would suffice however, at least for now. "It's been too long since i last fell my eyes upon the 'civilized' world; still has putrid as ever" She'd scorn to no on in particular. her fur pauldrons and black hair littered with light fragments of snow here and there, no doubt from her long journey here.

Her eyes now fell upon the other fellows here that stuck out like coyote in a prairie of sheep. Never having much a liking for all the fancy "knights" and "wyvern riders", so much different than the loincloth laden warriors of her own long lost tribe.

Serene didn't answer, but went back to her Pegasus. She ruffled up his mane, which he doesn't let many people do, and opened up her saddlebag to give him some food. "Black King, it seems like you're the only thing I trust the most here..." she silently said. She suddenly remembered that it was named Black King after a large black stallion a famous warrior once rode into battle.

Rungo stopped leaning against the wall. Rungo stood over Barbas, towering over him, glarring at him.

"I am only one man, if people were to die, it would be on your head, and if its on your head, you won't have a head any more because i'll have crushed it with my fist." Rungo said. "Now don't press your luck....small one."

Eton looked up Tania as she pulled him up.

"Nice....joke." he sniffled. "My name is...." Eton stopped trying to hold in a sneezze and turned his head and sneezed anyway. He then turned to look back at Tania. "Eton. I'm sorry, I think i've caught a cold. Your...that other pegasus knight, arn't you?"

Barbas stood there, showing no emotion. "I do not fear death." He repeated. "However, you're clearly thick-headed, I'll find another way out." He walked off, muttering under his breath.


"Typical, not a damn person can be of help, ever." He said under his beath after being a good distance from Rungo.

"Fantastic." He said. He let out an exasperated sigh and leaned back against the wall. "Sleep it is then." he thought out loud, and got on top of Tranis, getting comfortable on the large saddle. 'What a strange lady. I wonder why she didn't want to talk. Traumatized perhaps?' he thought, then began to drift to sleep.

Rungo approached Barbas from behind and wailed him in the back of the head and knocked him to the ground and glarred at him.

"I am the leader of this village. You are a guest here. You seek to put everyone at risk because you are "Bored." Now knock it off you childish punk!"

She smiled at Eton "Yes I am a Pegasus Knight, but you should really see someone about that cold" she said seriously. She shivered and pulled her cloak tightly around herself again. "Do you perhaps know how long this storm will last?" she asked.

Barbas stumbled to his feet, gritting his teeth once more. "Fine, when will I be able to leave?" He asked, biting his tongue as he rubbed the back of his head. "f***, that really hurt."

"You can leave when they are finished hunting and when the storm let's up. That will be in the morning. My archer's are watching. They are out there. There are many. They blend in so well with the white out, it's frightening. I am doing you a favor by having you stay here." Rungo said and patted him on the back. "And walk it off, it wasn't that hard."


"Your a long way from home. The snow here is almost constant. However, it only storms really badly occassionally. It won't let up until at least dawn. Tell me how did you end up here?" Eton asked her as looked through his pouches. "I don't think I have anything for illness. I'll have to tough it out."

"Fine, then I guess I'm stuck here." Barbas said as he crossed his arms. "Is there anywhere I can stay for the night?" He asked, still thinking. "Hard enough to knock me down. This guy sure is annoying..." he thought, not breaking eye contact with the man.

Serene sat next to her Pegasus, and looked around the room once again
"I really need to get out of this dump...I'm starting to feel a little bad. I never have done well in bad snowstorms..." she muttered to herself, trying to think of what to do

She was well.. Bored within this small village.. when her stomach rose with the eager feeling of needing sustenance. Of all the things i forgot to stow away, it had to be food she thought to herself, now realizing she knew not of where she could eat here. It wasn't as simple as slaughtering a boar or picking a fruit anymore. People of the mainlands used currencies and trade, of which she knew nothing about. Spotting Rungo, speaking with the others, she supposed that perhaps he'd know, despite the fact she hadn't wanted to speak to any of them at all.

She stroll through the snow, leaving foot prints buried within it as she'd come up to Rungo suddenly. Began to asked of him.

"Pahdon me sir- Where can i find food around here"
