  • Zelda series’ spin attack appears instead of the Musou Ranbu (?) of the musou franchise.
  • Bombs make an appearance, won’t just be used for throwing at enemies.
  • Impa, a captain of the Royal Army, appears as a playable character wielding a giant long sword.
  • Several other characters are playable too. Aonuma was surprised by how many.
  • Playable at E3.
  • Development is 70% complete.


It's starting to sound more and more amazing.

I always imagine Impa using some sort of dagger or some sort of quick like weapon not a Giant long sword. guess we will have wait to see if its sephiroth style
(except in the top down 2D series of zelda games...she's usually old or fat in those)

Well, I think it's safe to say I never thought I'd see designs like those in a Zelda game, spin off or no spin off. Of course Link is no stranger to buxom, scantily clad babes, he was in Soul Calibur. Looks like we've got another teen rating coming.

The guy looks kimda Phantom Ganony. Looking at the graphics, for some reason I feel like the design would really clash with straight text. While I'm against voice acting in the main games, I think it would be fine here, lomg as Link doesn't speak. Still prefer he not at all.

Some people have pointed out that they represent other Zelda characters. I noticed Volvagia (Speaking of, is he turning into a dragon?), and there's this weird thing that looks like the Poe Collector.

I see the simularities, but it seems WAY too early to reveal Ganon is in the game, given his tendency to hijack the game from any other antagonist that's built up... Between Skyward Sword and Link Between Worlds, he kinda hijacked it from HIMSELF in weird, meta ways.
I like the idea he may be a human Volvagia
