Is that like the Halloween version of the Hunger Games?

But you want to talk about scary games, right?

Resident Evil 4 is not a scary game.

Were the older Resident Evil games scary?

I know the new ones take a lot of s***, but I've not heard people talk a whole lot about the originals

Sometimes.

There was s*** like the zombie dogs jumping through the window in the first game and Nemesis in 3, but it mostly just feels B-movie tier. 4 and onwards aren't even trying.

Scary Things:

Resident Evil 4: Regeneradors

Resident Evil 6: The regenerative things, Tall Oaks University beginning, the dark places in the ship in Chris' campaign, every dark place.

Resident Evil Revelations: The Entire game, especially Queen Zenobia.

In the older games there was very limited ammo so there was always a sense of urgency and pressure. Like, without ammo going in a fight with zombies was a non-option, so if one were to peek around the corner out of once it'd be an "oh f***" moment. The setting of the older games was also quite cool, as were the aforementioned zombiedogs.

But overall the older games were held back by their graphics (if you were to play them now) and corny dialogue though.
I think my favourite aspect of the series as a whole was the Nemesis T-Type.

In later games like 6 you play as the steroid-tastic Chris McManlyman who is armed to the teeth and declares war on Africa, punching boulders and breaking necks along the way.

You mean 5 where Chris is McManlyMan? In 6, he is nowhere near it anymore.

In 4, those DAMN REGENERADORS on the Island. The breathing, the music, the "oh s***! AAAAHHHH!!!" moment when they start running, the double Regeneradores, that is scary. And what about U-3 and those containers?

AND WHAT THE f*** IS IN THAT BAG IN THE JAIL PART!!!

I can't believe you misspelled Regenerators two different ways in one post. Or that you find RE6 scary. It's friggin' Gears of Zombies.

1. It's proper name is Regenerador. In the US versions, there is a GIANT misperception of the name because of Luis Memo 4.
2. It can be pluralled Regeneradors or Regeneradores.
3. There are SOME scary parts in RE6.

Can we talk about imscared, MARIO (Creepypasta game) or Illusion: Ghost Killer now?
