Slicin' fools to gain health and shield at the same time then shoot someone at point-blank whilst getting bonus damage because of Death Mark and Be Like Water and then you win everything.

You literally will not be able to best the final boss with pure melee. That's why I don't like Zer0 that much, he can't solo and they made his melee out to be some sort of combo-like style. His melee would be badass if you could swing more than once every 2 seconds and the animation wasn't the same each time.

There's your problem.
But yeah, out of all the characters, I dislike Zer0 the most.

Axton (because bias), Maya, Salvador, Zer0.
What story mission are you on Nixter? Once you get near the end you start fighting rediculous enemies. There's two bosses I can think of you literally can't hit with melee.
If you guys ever do that play through, lemme know. I need to try Salvador.

Eeerrmm since I'm trying to play all the characters I like to switch between them alot. But I'm at the mission Wildlife Preservation. I only got the mission, I didn't do anything in there yet. (I'm mainly focusing on my Salv and Axton right now, so yeah)

I honestly haven't even tried anyone who isn't Maya.

When you're Salv you get confused sometimes as to why your rifle isn't auto and you remember it's a Jakobs and you're like OH! And then you you just go s*** and it works and it's actually pretty cool.


Axton is bad a**. 'Nuff said.

I have yet to start my Maya, though.

Oho, very good mission. The stalkers and skags get a little obnoxious, though.

I've tested Zer0 when I brought the game to my friend's house, but I've never made it to sanctuary with anyone other than Axton. Axton>>>>Roland IMO. Then again I think all BL2 characters are an improvement save for Zer0.
