I'm not completely blind to property differences. I know Toon Link's Spin Attack sucks you in and is multi-hitting and that his down air propels him downward. But they're still clones.

Because it's entertaining to debate with someone that can't win and won't change their mind. They just keep going with all kinds of nonsense like "I ignore you statements, because my opinion is the only valid one" and "your definitions don't count even though they're commonly agreed upon by many people". Sometimes they resort to "you're only ignoring me because you know I'm right", which you think would solve everyone's problem, but it doesn't because as soon as they think they won they start arguing everything, even if they don't believe it themselves. So since you can win either way it's more fun just to lead them on and get a good chuckle every time they do or say something ridiculous.

Juck is one of the fun ones that thinks they can win arguments without any evidence except personal belief, without the common sense to realize their personal belief is effectively rebutted by LITERALLY anyone saying they belief the opposite. There's a reason "proof" isn't called "belief".

Getting some more detail on those smash run games is really nice, and makes me want to play it more.

To be honest I was really hyped for Smash Run, but now, if you can't manually choose which final match you want, I probably won't play it much. And if you can, well, there are just certain character types that will do better. Personally I would play a lot of climbing matches as Peach or Jiggs, since they can (presumably) still knock people straight up reliably, so I can force people to be held back by hitting them into DANGER ZONES!
