that down smash is way different from Ike's lmao
dair is also pretty different from Shulk's
that up smash is not anything like Ike's either
while his fair looks similar at first glance it's definitely a different animation and the attack seems to meteor which is nothing like Ike's
the back air has a different animation but i can't totally tell much about it from just glancing at it

while the up/down thing is similar to Ike's, honestly that's not a super unique thing. jumping up in the air and attacking downwards whoa. mii swordfighter has a similar move. hell, mii brawler has a similar move. yoshi and bowser have similar moves, lol.

There are only so many ways to swing a sword. When you have a bunch of swordfighters in the game, their movies will inevitably start to look similar

None of Cloud's are that bad, other than the final smash, which is annoyingly pretty much identical to Ike's

to be fair for Cloud, omnislash has been around for a lot longer than Great Aether has. by like, eleven years.

If you think a couple of mediocre racers so insignificant they didn't even get ported to Nintendo's home consoles had anything to do with Pac-Man's inclusion in Smash

I apologize for jumping to conclusions, but if you have played that game, you wouldn't say something like Pac-Man having nothing to do with Nintendo. SSB4 is made by Namco as well, so it makes sense.

Looking at the trailer again it seemed like in order to spike with his down air you have to hit with the center of the blade rather than the tip. That'll be interesting

there's very little evidence for that besides where we know where it does meteor
for all we know it could be a Dorf/Falcon meteor and meteor whenever the character is below their nipples

the Midgar stage Looks like so much damn fun

His down smash acts like Ganondorf where the front hit knocks you into the back hit.

Hmmmm his forward air seems similar to Snake's meteor smash, which is cool. However, I am not sure if it meteors during the whole blade or at different spots.
