I'd prefer a sequel over Death Note. The ending was the most f*** up i've ever seen.

IMO, I liked the anime ending.

Because it was more dramatic then the manga version. Instead of Light dieing instantly in front of everyone, he runs out of the building for his life wounded and dying. By the time he reaches his resting place, the last person he sees is L. And then Ryuk kills him with the death note.
