"Together?" Barbas sighed. He didn't like the idea of taking someone with him. "Fine." He gritted his teeth. "But the second we are out of here, you're on your own." a slight smirk crossed his face. "Unless of course you can defend yourself." He added.

"I'm a bard" she said showing him her ensemble "Does it look like I can protect myself?" She watched him from the corner of her eye, as they walked through the village. She didn't want to stop in such a place ever again. No amount of money could bring her back here...but if she were made a queen...perhaps.

"Then it looks like you're gonna be on your own. I don't like having to defend people, leaves too many openings." He cracked his neck as they exited the town. "Or maybe go with that group of freaks." He pointed to the group. A woman with green hair, one albino, and a drunk. Only one of them looked normal.

"Really I prefer not to put myself in danger by hanging around those misfits" she said harmoniously "Besides we have a sort of symbiotic relationship." She whistled a note "You fight. I boost you to be more powerful. Its a win win for you really when you think about" she said as a matter of factly.

"No. If you come with me, then I am responsible for you. I won't risk my life to defend yours." Barbas was stubborn and didn't feel the need for anyone to travel with. "Already told you, you're on your own." Walking once more, to no set place. Night was falling, he would need to sleep soon as he had not slept the night before. Rubbing his eyes as he pressed onward to his next destination.

"What a coincidence, you have to go somewhere I have to go somewhere." she said charismatically "Besides, you don't have to protect me, its not like I'm going to get myself in trouble or anything" she added. Night was approaching hopefully he will have been to tired to argue with her, or even better, to prepare a meal. "I've also got some food...and if you feel for something fresh...I can make your hunting easier." she was almost ready to beg "Please, I promise I won't be a burden"

Barbas sighed again. "Why do you feel the need to come with me?" He asked as he turned to her. "Being clingy Isn't a good quality." The girl was getting on his nerves. She was too cheerful, too perky. "Besides, not all of them are completely creepy." He pointed to Julius as he turned around. "He seems normal enough. A bit of a wimp, and he can't defend himself, but at least he's not a drunk with green hair and pale skin."

Julius heard what sounded like quarrelling in the background as he sighed to himself he turned to see Barbas and a brown haired women with him talking. He scratched his head and began to approach.

"Excuse me for a second." He said to Jay and Charisma as he began to walk over. "What's going on?" He asked the two as he walked towards them. "Something up?"

Barbas eyed the man "Unless you want to die where you stand, you will leave." He grabbed his bow, pointing it at Julius as his free hand grabbed one of the flame arrows. "I will not spare you again." He told him. "You have no business with me." He pulled back on the bow as he squinted his eyes. "Well, which is it?"

Violet whipped out her lute from her back and strummed it "Right behind ya partner" she said enthusiastically.

Julius stopped where he stood, he dare not reach for his weapon as Barbas held his, knocked and ready. A fire arrow on it. He meant buissness. Julius took but a step back.

"Um...can we...settle this....without weapons? I heard arguing." Julius let out sweating just a bit.

"See?" He said to Violet. "Complete wimp." He put his bow and arrow back to where they originally were. Sighing, he attempted to walk off again. "You still can't come. Don't think I won't kill you because you're a girl. All blood is the same."
