In case someone missed it. Now, I have also played the demo so far. I have time to test Mario, Mega Man and Villager: Mario felt overall pretty much as he is in Brawl (gameplay-wise, not power-wise), I didn't have problems with him, he also seems faster and more prone to perform comboes, his gimp abilities are extarordinary, still relies too much on Smash attacks to finish off opponents. Mega Man is in my opinion the hardest character to play with the first time, the fact his neutral aerial attack and side strong [tilt] attack are the same makes me difficult to dominate him, more than one time I performed moves expecting the attacks he has in SSF2, no luck in there. Villager is OP, the longest recovery of the game (gimpable but still good) can cover a large terrain with that Gyroid Missile, but the thing I love the most was his aerial game. I have only played a match with Link, so I haven't test him very well, haven't touch Pikachu. Now, if I can tell the thing I hate of this game is the Spanish announcer, god! he is terrible! we are in 2014, I can't believe there are video game companies that still think the Iberean Spanish is the same as the Latin Spanish. If he calls out Rosalina as "Estela" in the final game I'm done with him. Even worse, it is the same Spanish announcer from Brawl, they didn't even try to find a new announcer that could deliberately be better. No comments on the English one so don't ask about that. But overall I enjoyed the game, at first I felt it was too small for a Smash game to be in screen like the one the regular 3DS has, but it is something you can get use to.

Meh. The spanish announcer sucks, not because his Iberean Spanish but because he accentuates every syllable. I will just change my 3DS language to English. The NA version of Brawl didn't have a spanish version, so I am already used to the english announcer.

Easy, nobody gives a s*** about British English (the lexicon between Iberian Spanish and Latin Spanish is way to different BTW) and Gabo just pointed the very own problem of that Spaniard announcer. And seriously I don't give a f*** either if you whine or not because at the end it's my opinion. The game is very well traduced in Spanish but the voice over is not very good.

So before anymore arguing goes down and qbit wins due to the other person raging, I'd just like to share my experience with this game since that's part of what this topic is for...
Just downloaded the demo today on my friend's 3DS, and...god I am rusty (then again I played every match with level 9 CPU's). I played Mega Man most of the time, and yeah, he is kinda hard to get used to. I was expecting his neutral B to be chargeable like SSF2...I was kinda expecting most of his style to be ripped straight from SSF2. I'm still gonna main him though, I must. Oddly enough, I played no matches with the Villager; I wasn't really excited for him at all. Mega Man was all I needed. I'm surprised by how close to the other Smash games it feels like. I can't wait to play more of it.

Does the coin system make sense to anyone? It feels like I'm getting more coins when I fail than when I succeed.

Oh god I suck using the 3DS. I can barely do Smash Attacks, and confuse the buttons.
I need more time to get used to the controls (After a lot of time using the Wii Remote alone for Brawl...)

it's based off of the number of hard (smash-like) inputs on your control stick. Spam it back and forth for lots of coins.

y'all are both wrong iberian spanish and british english both share substantial differences to the point in which at times, native speakers of american english and latin americans have a bit of difficulty understanding their counterpart however, the vernaculars of the different languages won't make a difference because the same words in the game are being spoken. the differences aren't big enough so that you can't understand. no one in mexico will be unable to understand "luthina" as lucina, and no one in america would be unable to understand "mahth" as marth i know that latin american spanish has the majority of speakers, but there would still be differences in pronunciation if the speaker was, say, argentinian (also both european dialects are very important cause like without them we wouldn't have the equivalent american dialects, so) anyway, a bit of a technical question. when you all are playing, do you tend to jump with x and/or y or with the up movement on the control stick? I always used x and y in melee and brawl but I feel like i use the control stick more often in the 3ds. I feel like that would end up being a bit detrimental to how efficient i play, so, just a thought

I want to use X and Y, but since I can't turn off tap jump I've been using the circle pad, though that's probably going to create some bad habits.

@adam - what exactly was the point of your language knowledge dickwaving?
the point was that no company will care enough to pay for something to be dubbed in the same language twice
not that there's no difference between the languages
reading comprehension, y'know?

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Couldn't it have been measured by number of KO's modified by the AI difficulty or something?
