Rem is on temporary retirement, Skailler has put in work but I don't see him play Tails much, and Bomono is semi-active, and when he is, its not always Tails

Im playing Tails way less then I used to... But I guess that goes for most of my mains. Im going into the lab with him soon tho, at the very last with the release of Beta. The main problem (at least for me) is that I have no active Tails main that can give me some advice or some super secret technique. Like Joey said, Rem has retired for now, Bomono is not that active as well. Lunary has a pocket Tails (I think), buts thats it. And yet he kciks my a** with him... Man, I really need to play him more again. On another note, MetaTails for S Tier Or maybe even give him bombs He has grenades, Napalm bombs, ring bombs... Not to be meant seriously, but I somethimes wonder how a bomb in Tails´s moveset would work.

I have a Tails (kinda a strong word) and am interesting in pushing his metagame.
The best way IMO to stall the ledge in a situational edgeguarding position is to jump and FF bair to regrab ledge. It's useful for edgeguarding because there is little risk.

Yeah; I do play Tails and I would say I am active but I need to challenge other players if I ever get time and get better so I can actually be considered a good player

OMYGOSHTHISISAWSESOMEATAILSTECHLooks awesome This will bring a lot of salt to the table and a lot more "THIS IS JANKY PLS NRF" comments... (Hi Jammy). But seriously, are there any real followups besides the edgeguard setup? Maybe something like UAir/Fair on Floaties?

maybe you could use it to start a fair chain or something low for early % gimps, but i'm not exactly sure but, i do know for sure that if you fast fall fast enough you will gimp fox, if not, then u-throw fastfall>dair would
you can get under the stage and gimp characters from there on stages like 3ds, ps3, bf
but i'm still working on it
from what i see, you can get pretty far down
i just want to sd with it, see if that's possible
also, just thought i'd mention but you can do unexepcted u-throw stagespikes
and u-throw's distance also changes if you're walking and running

If you tails dash into up throw immediately, it's possible to fly each other right into the blastzone for major salt

So... There is that one useless tech I wanted to know if its possible... But is it possible to do a Backwards Tailsdash? So basically a Tailsdash whilst sliding backwards for style... I have tried a few things with that, but Im not creative at all when it comes to such things and I dont really think it would be useful at all anyways besides being able to Tailsdash in with Shield being covered properly as a Tailsdash Shield will leave your front almost unshielded. Now that Im thinkig about it... Is it possible to reverse the momentum of a Tailsdash without getting caped during the slide for super hyped mindgames? I can imagime the salt and WTF momets if Tails just would slide the other direction while sliding then only to slide back to his original direction or something like that. Come on devs, let it happen...

Actually, yes to both of those. For the ''Backwards Tailsdash'' (It's pretty much a moonwalk), you have to charge it to a point where Tails can't break his momentum with a dash in the opposite direction. That way, he'll be facing the other way. You can do really creative things with this. Like, the SD thing Jay talked about, but backwards! Or you can use it and spindash ledgegrabs to quickly grab the ledge from the other side of the stage. And for the Reversed Momentum, you just have to perform the moonwalk, but when charging it, make sure not to charge it too much. He won't really slide in the opposite direction, but he will dash. Also, another U-throw thing.. If you do it close enough to the walls offstage, you can manage to make it so that there's no bounce and it deals no %. Doesn't sound useful, but it puts the opponent right below you, in range of a dair. Also, I think I found Tails' fastest way to get to the edge. If done perfect, it can be faster than a fast fall ledgegrab. Instant Rude(Reverse) Spindash Ledgegrab. The instant means it's done right beside the ledge and the grab is immediately. Make sure to let go of down after you do Down-B. Rude/Reverse means it's in the other direction. And Spindash grabs ledges. Aaand here's something that could be useful. In SSBM Yoshi's Story, with Spacies, you can do a waveland on the platforms from the ledge. With Tails', you can do the same on Wario-Ware, and to some extent, on Yoshi's. On Wario-Ware, Do a Ledge-jump (Don't confuse it with a ledge-hop. This is much simpler.) you have to move a bit forward and then charge and aerial Spindash. You should immediately land on the platform if done right, and then you Spindash Edge-cancel, and there you go. On Yoshi's, Do a Ledge-jump, and then jump again, and then you can charge the aerial Spindash and edgecancel it. F-throw can be chaingrabbed if you JC grab. it's not as bad as i thought... without DI, though. man f-throw really sucks b-throw can chaingrab if you use a tailsdash D-throw can be chaingrabbed with a JC grab as well still without DI. this is really messy also why does nobody do ledge-dashes with tails

Now that sounds like some really advanced techniques Could you (or someone else) make a Video guide with this or all of Tails's Techs if you are more insane explained and showcased for visual content?

Tailsdash: Get in the air somehow, charge Spindash midair. Once you landed, press jump, then release Spindash within two frames.
Sliding Tornado: Up B out of a dash and you wll cover good distances while dealing safe damage. Do not combine with Tailsdash or GG. Still useful if youre running tho.
UTHrow can be controlled left or right and sets up Fair/UAri if Forwards depending on DI (or reverse Bair) and Backwards is a nice GTFO move. You can also fastfall of the ledge to SD or a quick Dair/reverse Bair/Fair. UTHorw Forwards or a Pivot UThrow Backwards out of a Tailsdash also is the coolest way to hit the blastzones and end the game.
Side B can reverse your momentum midair and can be used multiple times. Also a nice setup into Fair/Nair/ Reverse Bair.
Neutral B can be used to edgegaurd if used midair to cut the path of your enemy short. Also can be reversed to grab ledge after letting go of it.
You can perform a Tailsdash backwards, ask Chaos on how to do that.
Did I miss something?
