More of Ness! I'm still trying to see how I'm going to do those lighting effects from his PSI power. And because of this, this PA will probably take the longest of my PA's but well worth the experience.

Remember, what ever the color of the light is is the same color you use for the highlights on Ness. So if he's using some green PSI powers, give him a green highlight.

I'll keep that in mind.

Also take into account the luminance, or brightness of the PSI power. Things like the sun, which gives off bright yellow-white light, will alter slightly the colors on Ness to a brighter luminance. We are used to this because we live on Earth, and natural sunlight always does this to colors. But if it is a bizarre color like green, red, or blue, then mix in some of the bizarre color with Ness. Also remember that skin reacts differently to light than clothing. And again (lol, it seems I'm going on forever) think about Ness' location. Where is he standing? Is he outside, is the standing under a light bulb, is he underwater (of course he isn't but you get the point)? The colors of the light source are always important to choose.

This Ness looks amazing. What kind of PSI Power did you have in mind though?

I'm actually not very sure. I'm not very familiar with the Mother Games. All I know is what SSB taught me. I was just going to do a green energy ball-thing, but I don't know how well that will work. Do you have any ideas?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but PK/PSI Flash in the Smash games was some green blast, but in the real games, it never had any sort of color. It was really a mind power, that either made enemies get a status condition (sneezing, crying, sleeping) or it would be a one hit KO. The only other move that I know that is activated from the fingertips is PK/PSI Fire, which in fact isn't Ness' move at all. You'll have to do some research. :P

I want to start on expansions again, starting with my character, Aaron Ehaz. He was formerly known as Ben Meyer, as most people would probably know him. Here's some sprites I made. I want to see your oppinions before I continue on with this project:
Image

The two on the top have the sheathed sword on it. The bottom do not. The left have the same face that's more realistic and serious, and the right has a different one which is more cartoony. I showed both of these in order to see which one is prefered.
I'd like a ton of helpful critique for this. If you see something wrong with it tell me. Or if you just don't like it, then tell me and I could make another one, based on popular opinion.

Before I get into anything else, if this is a SSF2 expansion, you do realize the styles will clash greatly and probably end up being an eyesore, even if the sprite does look good in its own style, right? That'd be the main concern. But if you want to continue in this style, currently all I can think to say is up the contrast on his boots.

I hate it, but you're probably right. My last version was a Tsuna edit, and I may just update that big time. Thanks for the input.

Well then I await the results. : P
Sorry I had to be the one to break the news. Your sprite does look pretty dang good though.
