You did for the first week, but not anymore. It's full public now. Re: Music I actually really like the Sandover Village mix. Dunno why, since I didn't care a whole ton for it in J&D, but I think that version of it's just really well done. Not impressed by the Haven City mix, though. Franzea's great, both the Ape Escape parts are great, both the Sly parts are great. I couldn't pick a single favorite if I tried. Still can't wait to see Invasion in action, either.. A few people from the LA event reported that it was really cool; one of them even called it the coolest looking stage in the game.

So, what's the best way to fight against a Kratos player?

Does blocking really do anything in this game? Its not like you can die from normal attacks.

Makes it easier to approach some characters like Radec (if you're playing against people that spam sniper shot)+ rolling is a good way to escape.

Blocking (and Sly's decoy) is the only way to avoid an easy infinite stun lock from Parappa. Unfortunately, most Slys don't realize they have to use decoy to get out, so you can lock them down easily (Just spam the mic). Otherwise, blocking can be really annoying since many combos rely on things such as knocking you into the air (Parappa's and Kratos' Up Square, etc), which blocking prevents.
Against Kratos, I've done fine with Sly, Parappa, and Radec. Sly - DECOY! This is your block. Abuse your invisibility, and if you sense his forward square happening, pop a decoy to get close. Teleporting is also infinitely useful against Kratos to close the gap. Don't go for anything other than level 1 supers, that's all you need (And remember to use invisibility before popping the super so it's unexpected). Parappa - The mic has about the same range as his forward square grab, and more range than most of his other moves. That is Parappa's main combo-starter tool, and very easy to abuse against Kratos. An air forward triangle can also help close the gap, but I prefer using the mic. Radec - Spam sniper, Kratos does nothing, game won.

Prevents taking damage so they won't build AP, get through Radec's spam shots, and leaves an opening to those who attacks constantly with normals. Disadvantages: you can't block grabs and supers. For the supers, use rolls and/or air dodges Kratos is completely a close combat character with some ranged attack options. Characters like Fat Princess and Sweet tooth are gonna have a hard time with him but Sly, Parappa, and Radec should leave him in the dust (especially Radec with the sniper shot spam)

I really likes the idea of this game, but they need to definitely have Crash and Spyro. And Big Boss from MGS3. A few characters seemed kind of ridiculous, but they had me sold when Kratos and Sly were there. Dante is good too.

To be honest, I consider Kratos somewhat of a midranged fighter. Especially since he can throw out some projectiles. So far I'd say that the character mostly geared towards close combat would be Parappa the rapper. Dumb question but: is there any way to 'select' what colour you'd like to play as (in the beta)? Like, can you set Sly's colour to black/red pre-match? Or does the game select that for you?

Not in the beta. You're able to do it in the full game, though.

The bow (Forward + Circle) is worthless. Most Kratos players never use the bow as a resort to zoning for AP. The other one would probably be his hammer (Down + Triangle) but It doesnt feel as its considered a projectile but more of a close-ranged combat move.

We should do a countdown.
So guys, how many alternative costumes (as in: the actual alt. costumes, not the alt. coours) do you think each character will have, and what costumes do you think we'll see? I think there will be 2 or 4 for each character (excluding DLC costumes).

Counting DLC, there's four (Standard/unlockable/unlockable/DLC). Devs said so at the LA event.
The ones I really want: Jak II for Jak (With changed hair, unlike the poor Jak 1 costume) Kuo/Nix for Cole/Evil Cole InFamous 1 Cole for Cole Venice/Pirate disguises for Sly Delta for Big Daddy Kuma for Heihachi (I don't care how little sense it makes. Heihachi can be his L2) Dante for Dino (Though I think the devs deconfirmed this, sadly)

There is no Dante for Donte. I think the devs had little to work with for him because Capcom has a lot of DLC stuff planned for the new game...
I think Jak II was deconfirmed for Jak as well, but not sure. What'd I'd really like is a 'Daxter' costume, where you have a little ottsel Jak on human Daxter's shoulders. It'd be pretty awesome. If not that, at least give Daxter pants...
I hope costumes affect some of their moves, too. Like if Sly had a costume for his father, his level 1 would involve McSweeney and Dr. M would give him instructions for his level 3.

A Jak X-based costume for Jak&Daxter sounds likely. Personally, I really doubt that Conner (I think that was the name of Sly's father) will be a costume for Sly, given that Sly has so many disguises to work from (Venice, Pirate, Tuxedo etc.). I'm really wondering what Ratchet'll get. I'm thinking a R&C1-based costume, Gladiator Ratcher (From R&C Deadlocked) or an A Crack in Time-based costume.

If there's one costume I want for sweet tooth, it'd be his TM4 look
