They played it safe. Not one of their best but not the worst either. They would have been showing CG trailers if you wanted to knock your socks off. Like SXF, it took them forever to see some gameplay.

Went into Square Enix with low expectations and came out with a massive smile on my face

I think no one won E3. Yeah they announced FF7 and Shenmue 3 but I expect those titles to be release within 2 years. Nintendo was only focusing on Mario, which they could have done that on a different day. Microsoft improved this year than previous but not that big. I wanted the E3 2014 Nintendo had, they killed that year. At least they gave a lot of release dates this year. overall 7/10

The only things that caught my interest were Starfox and even that was meh, and SMT X FE. Hardly anything new, and an amiibo animal crossing party? Seriously?
It's clear that they're not caring about the wii u anymore. After this year and next year I'd be surprised if they keep it going.

i didnt watch ninty's e3 but uhhh they've done too much for the wii u already for you to jump to that conclusion tbh

im sad not because of the direct but mostly with how people are reacting to it. mostly because it's like your actually getting games this year and you complain.

it's also partly Nintendo's fault because since they started directs people see this as oh s*** they can just announce the smaller stuff some other day and announce the big stuff at E3. when it's like no because of the directs they can just announce anything any day now really.
not to mention it's Mario's 30th year anniversary of f*** course they want the main focus this year to be on him and super mario maker.

the metroid thing is like i get your dissapointed i am also. but it's not like the game doesn't look fun. not to mention the game comes out next year by the time it comes out they likely will announce an actual f*** metroid.

people are mad about the animal crossing fortune street when it's like the developer of animal crossing literally said a WiiU animal crossing isn't coming for sometime just let them do more with the IP it"s like just let them use their IP that's filled to s*** with characters.

The zelda game looks really fun
mario & luigi + paper mario looks amazing because hey paper mario's finally in an actual RPG again

my thing is that nintendo only promised Star fox this year yet people sat there trying to make it seem like it was going to be everything they ever dreamed of. s*** ZELDA U was f*** delayed till next year that's already a f*** thing that people were hyped for they will just have to wait longer for. if they did announce an actual metroid you would get it next year anyway so hearing the complaints is driving me up the wall it's like just be happy you have a f*** game to play NOW.

If I remember correctly, they said something along the lines of...
"If we don't make a game that lives up to, or exceeds FF7 in terms of popularity we will not produce a remake"

I died a little inside when you said they're going to f*** it up. Cause chances are you're right.
When remakes for games happen, the terrible part about it all is the fact that they try to change the original product because they feel like it's just a copy and paste otherwise. As much as i'd love for the remake to be JUST updated graphics and whatnot, I just have a terrible feeling they're going to go overboard and just not make it the same game I loved playing when I was younger. We'll see though, I don't think Square would f*** with their pride and joy.
