The next Miyazaki film. Now, I don't know much about the movie beyond what I've read in this article (Though I should, it was released a year ago in Japan..), but it's sure to be good. It's freakin Hayao Miyazaki.

Though I've heard that this is Miyazaki's last film, but it's just rumors as far as I know. I've only seen one of his movies (Spirited Away), but I really wanna see the others.

Anyways, it comes out over here in about a week, anybody else interested?

I've seen the commercials, it looks interesting. I'll try to catch it.

On another note, WHY FRANKIE JONAS FOR SOSUKE!? -.- I hate anybody with the last name jonas.

It's even worse that Noah Cyrus is Ponyo... ;_;

Watch the Japanese version with the subs.
Not quite as magical or epic as the other Miyazaki films, but it's cute.

Jonas + Cyrus = it may be Miyazaki, but it would kind of fail so much ;_;

I'm gonna go see it in theatres, just to throw some money Miyazaki's way. But watching it in Japanese with subs is probably a good idea for afterwards.

Also, on the whole Cyrus and Jonas thing: It may be a whore move, but it's still a Miyazaki script, that could PARTIALLY save it. Iunno, I'll still go see it.

Seems interesting. Might watch it after I find a copy of "Only Yesterday".

I saw princess mononoke recently and really liked it.

Spirited away was decent but not as good.

I don't think it'll be as cute as My Neighbor Totoro, but it's worth seeing. I can say that without seeing it because Miyazaki made it. He's that badass.

Anyway, as for some recommendations, watch the following movies:

Castle in the Sky
Princess Mononoke
Howl's Moving Castle
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
Kiki's Delivery Service

Porco Rosso was decent. Although it was odd seeing a male protagonist in a Miyazaki film.

We definitely have a lot in common.

Anyway, I checked the Wikipedia page, and the cast changed drastically (BECAUSE IT'S f#%$& WIKIPEDIA THAT'S WHY).

Damn people can't make up their minds. But still, I'm probably going to see this movie.

I guess it's worth watching, I mean I did enjoy Spirited Away.

But Frankie Jonas?!

I really hate the Jonas Brothers. They should jump off a cliff. Only it should be a mountain. And it's a mountain in Europe where Hakker lives so he can see the Jonas Brothers jump off.
