I was using the internet browser on my PS3, then suddenly my TV screen turned black. But my PS3 is still on. But the problem is: it won't TURN OFF when I press the on/off button! I am very cautious and I really don't want to resort to unpluging my PS3 from the back because I am worried that I might break my PS3. Unless that is the only way to fix it...

HELP ME PLEASE

Think you can beat me in Marvel vs. Capcom 3? We'll see about that. My PSN is ThatAwesomeMe. So get ready to get your a** whooped.

Try plugging it into another TV, with the AV cables. See what shows on the screen.

Okay don't panic. What you want to do is go to a PS3 or Sony related forum and report your issue to them and not a forum for a s*** flash Smash clone.

I am not using AV cables for my PS3. I'm using HD. My other TVs do not support HD.

Okay good. I'll go to a PS forum or something.

HELP ME PLEASE

It happened to me a couple of times aswell when i launched mortal kombat and marvel vs capcom 3...
The screen went black and it never started... I couldn't turn it off either...

All i did was unplug it then plugged it back in... I turned it on and it did not destroy my PS3... It did nothing but just restored my settings... No corrupted data...
