Also for the layout of the ship - there's a kitchen, sleeping quarters, the place where the cargo goes (can be climbed on and walked around) captain's quarters, place to steer the ship, first aid area thingy, the radio booth, and so on - your generic boat. As a twist, the person sailing the ship could die and so the ship shakes a lot - making fighting harder.

No, I didn't reply by the end of your day.

I replied long before my day ended. (It was still 9pm, or so in fact.)

((Since I'm free, I'll make a bio now. We're on a hijacked ship of some kind, heading somewhere. It'd be nice to be more specific but my bio isn't so concerned about it. That and I don't get why they'd let someone with weapons on a boat, that eventually hijacked later.))

Well this was a luxury cruise for Mikado Pei. As luxurious as a down on his luck NEET would be able to afford. Okay, so he didn't pay for passage but nobody had to know that. Still, it was kinda obvious with his attire. His current pair of jeans haven't been washed in a while, while his white t-shirt had stains from various sauces and beverages around the world. On top of that, he wore a black blazer whose sheen has long worn off. A pair of dark blue fingerless wool gloves, worn grey sneakers and an equally dark blue wool cap covered his extremities. Mikado wasn't exactly a picture of health either. Black eyes that looked world weary and ruffled greying hair would have stood out the most if not for his stubble that had grown somewhat since he last trimmed it with a pair of rusty scissors he kept on person. The blazer he wore hid most of his undernourished frame.

As for anything that he travelled with; well, let's just say a vagabond wouldn't but much without a musical instrument or instrument case. For him, it was a violin case with a violin insde, which was tuned and played regularly, a pen, a toothbrush with a small tube of toothpaste, a note pad he used for composition and paper currency. Any spare clothes that he had rested in a small cloth sack scavenged from a supermarket which he used as a pillow. On person, he carried a little change and a rusty pair of scissors. No point in carrying more than that in this day and age.

Travelling smart was one of his good points. Another would be his sense of orientation and direction. Both were useful for a liberal arts graduate who had suddenly been struck by wander lust. What was infinitely more useful however, were his experiences over the course of his travels. Little bits and pieces from the locals and the occasional visit to a public library and he'd know enough to survive as a tourist. He didn't bother to count the years that passed by but it had at least been half a dozen. Well, he was too lazy to remember among other things that he deemed trivial. Whatever life dished at him, he treated it with a laid back attitude. Things will work themselves out sooner or later. In the mean time, if he needed to remember something, he'd jot it down for later, as his memory isn't that great. On the other hand, his hearing is above average, having a musical ear with perfect pitch, bringing it to bear when he needs to raise funds by performing his violin. It has more or less sustained his life style as a wandering musician. A troubadour of sorts, if one wished to call him that, who went where ever winds were at his back.
