Yes, the task of planning new regulations on the RPG section is more important that figuring out who belongs in the RPB section.

This may seem tedious but perhaps we'll have to create different tests.

One test could be that you give the person a theme or two, and they create a bio that would fit into the world described.
Another test could be given is that you give them a random character, and put them in some random situation, then they make a reply as to how they would RP in the situation.
A test that could possibly put them in an RP battle, where they have to try and not godmod their way out.

There are probably other things we could test them on as well.

i like Kiki's ideas. it may seem tedious, especially for whoever wants to join the rp forums but.. we really need to rid of the ones ruining the overall experience.. speaking of which.. -pokes belth-

An interesting proposal. It might work fairly well. As suggested, entry will be halted, as well as nomination. Voting will also be halted, as the standards for RPB might soon increase, or might not by any significant degree.

Here's an idea.

We set a number of judges to occupy the number of spots that correspond to each department of skill we will test. For example, say we pick 6 main departments of RPing skill that are needed to RP well. We have six judges, 1 individual judge for each department. Each judge will think up a test that will fit into the department they are specializing in. When they administer the test, all judges will grade the performance on a scale of 1 to a yet-to-be-determined number, the higher number being the better. The judge that issued the test will grade on a scale of 1 to twice the yet-to-be-determined number. Total points for each category will be totaled. There will be a uniform percentage among the categories that must be met or passed by the one taking the test. After all tests are taken, total points will be added together. Once again, there is a percentage that must be met or exceeded, but this percentage should be higher than the uniform percentage requirement of the 6 tests, around 8-12 percent higher. If one fails to meet or exceed the percentage of one of the tests, the person automatically fails everything else. If one's combined score does not meet or exceed the final scoring, the person automatically fails as well. If all tests and the final scoring is met/exceeded, then the person gains access to the normal RPG section.

Whew, done. Well, does this method seem well-organized and simple enough to understand?
