What I'm saying is that averaging completely different tier lists doesn't make the final one wiser, it just means that the meta isn't developed enough yet. In a developed metagame, there would be agreement for the most part, with a little disagreement here and there. When the BR did averaging for the first v0.9b tier list, there was a lot of variation, but the second one had a lot less of it: the meta had developed to the point that "how good is Bomberman" was not merely an abstract question. This meta has tons of characters without many serious representatives (don't think I've ever played a good Yoshi or Sandbag), and even many serious reps for characters don't have their meta really explored yet. There is rampant disagreement about the placement of characters, because the meta hasn't really formed yet. The fact that you can win a tournament in an undeveloped meta doesn't mean you're qualified to speak about the parts of the meta that aren't developed yet.

NSB is currently a reliable source on a meta that doesn't exist yet. That isn't really grounds for a low-tiers tournament.

If the NSB dudes want to run a bracket with a different stage list for the sake of trying something new, especially when there is no one official list, and the fact that the game isn't even two years old yet, there's really no sake of argument.

Yes people will argue and such about f*** anything in a game as new as this and this is really not the place for it.

TLDR: Leave the dudes running this to run the event, one tourney most likely won't make a massive difference on the stage list meta.
