That's not a glitch. It's a post count cap.
You cannot gain post counts by posting in the SSF2 section.

Quick notice: The last 2 times I updated my sig., the message (and some other things) were in an unusual size (big). Does that usually happen?

I forget what causes this but I don't think it's a serious problem assuming it went away on it's own. Did it get stuck large?

I think it's a minor bug in the HTML/CSS that seems to only affect certain browsers. It used to happen to me a lot
