I'm not sure if it's related, but Nobody was involved in the case against Believeblood. Since Believeblood was the grave digger, he'd appear to have visited Blitz. The mafia could not have believed Kyuubit (for whatever reason) had a watching role and instead gone to their next hunch, Nobody. While Weavile was more involved in the discussion and thus would appear more certain of Believeblood's guilt (or whatever), the fact that Weavile's still alive could mean the mafia wanted this to be the case due to Weavile's team alignment and went on to kill the person they weren't so sure about: Nobody. This is only a hunch though.

Wait a minute. If the mafia didn't kill Kyuubit, even though she claimed cop, wouldn't that give us reason to suspect that Kyuubit could be mafia?

Kyuubit was protected. If someone attacked Kyuubit, they'd get taken down. Why would the mafia willingly walk into a trap? They wouldn't. Therefore, they attacked someone else.

And yeah, Kyuubit said he was an investigator of sorts.

Herp derp, I'm pretty sure if Kyuubit was fake-claiming as the investigative role, the real investigative role would've said something.

It was just an idea, but here's what I'd think the train of thought would be

1. Kyuubit's said nothing wrong so far (ie. hasn't said anything about the positions)
2. Kyuubit will quite possibly die soon, regardless of the protector.
3. I'll step up once it's proven that Kyuubit's not an investigator.

Then Tid, you told Nobody to protect Kyuubit. Point 2 then becomes obsolete, but by now, everyone believes Kyuubit. Anyone stepping up to say "hang on, he was lying" would be trusted a lot less than Kyuubit and probably would end up being lynched as a result.

But as I said, it's just a hunch.

I am not mafia because right now, if I was, Kyuubit would be dead, depending on if she was mafia or not, and you, DVD, would be dead, again depending on whether you were mafia or not.
I would kill Kyuubit because she claimed an investigative role, which is extremely valuable for the town, and I would kill you, DVD, because you are a good arguer, you can get people to follow you, and you are. just plain and simple, good at mafia.
