Going off of the teching down throw, I don't seem to get launched anywhere. At all. Just standing still in hitstun after it. I remember a while ago I got good at teching it but now it just doesn't launch, di maybe?

he does actually. One frame of intangibility the frame it is active. Technically NOT invincibility, but I can understand the mistake since they are so similar.

Ignore my comment on YouTube, I realized the mistake after looking back at my Excel Spread sheet that has all the frame data for each character. In my script for the video, I had written intangibility, but I said invincibility instead.

Oh? so I kinda was right/wrong even though I still had intangibility written in the Excel sheet and in my script! I'll make sure to review my content over before posting a video. I most certainly was trying to make sure the information was accurate... it's hard making information about Smash into a video without trying to make it sound boring.

What is the difference out of curiosity?

Intangible hurtbubbles cannot collide with hit- and grab bubbles of any kind, so in contrast to shield’s and invincibility’s blocking nature, intangibility evades attacks. while Invincibility frames are the period of time (measured in frames) during which a character cannot be attacked or damaged. Depending on which kind of invincibility the character has, the attack may "hit" or "miss".

To give an example, when someone respawns in SSF2 they are invincible. If you try to hit them, you'll undergo hitlag as your attack connects with them. If they dodge/sidestep they are intangible, and they completely dodge your attack.

There are only two things I can think of that really matter with regards to invincibility/intangibility (there's hitlag and Raptor Boost and stuff like that, but it's not super important): windboxes, and Crash Bomb. Crash Bomb will attach to any hurtbox regardless of whether it can currently be hit, so when you have spawning invincibility you still need to dodge that (but sidestepping works). Also, windboxes (this most infamous being Sheik's up-B, but Sora's usmash is another big one) affect invincible opponents, just not intangible ones, so shielding or spawning invincibility is not enough to protect you!

I'll just mention that windboxes are not a special kind of hitbox with its own behaviour distinct from regular attacking hitboxes and grab boxes (which greatly differ). A windbox is just an attack that does kb but no damage or hitlag (which is why it will affect invinc opponents but not intang!)

:fox: Fox sliding trick on Turbo mode, not sure if anybody saw this yet though, so your gonna have to make direct contact with his Up O (B), then you have to transfer to a side O (B), but the moment he get into that position immediately hold the opposite direction to get a huge sliding effect that can push you all the way to the end of the stage. Could be useful in some ways.

Edit: Try practicing on Final D, but make sure when you use your Up O (B) you have to be at a certain height, preferably at the exact point of the ledge slightly over it at least.

Despite absolutely hating going against Fox, I'll admit it, I can play him a little.
