Seriously though, I want to bring this discussion back on topic, but there's barely a topic left to hold on to. A horror monster loses its shock value over time, but the process speeds up the more it appears in the public view. That's why Pinhead managed to hold onto some semblance of fright while Jason Voorhees wound up taking Manhattan. Slendy had a good start with the photoshopped images, with the "oh god was he there before" sense of disconcerting, but now he's just a prop. A prop for anyone to hold up in their own horror games, because apparently creativity just doesn't stand up anymore to "being chased by big guy, no face, fml".

Imscared, which I mentioned earlier, is definitely one of the creepiest things I've seen in a while, moreso than Slender or any of the other games. And if you replaced White Face with Slenderman, it just wouldn't have the same effect to me. It's because White Face has more of a personality. It has a reason for living. You don't get it entirely, but you get that it has human feelings. And that makes it more subtly creepy than Slenderman, who at this point feels like a generic horror object that just happens to hit the right uncanny valley buttons.

What I'm saying is, if you open Unity and make the background black, Clippy appears in the corner and says "It looks like you're trying to make a horror game. Should I make a Slenderman model?"

But in sincerity, I'll try making a game so scary, it'll give a person nightmares. I'm not talking about a game with 1 entity, I'm taking about 30 entities. Something that beats "imscared", which still is a creepy as hell game. (LOL, renaming this Horror games)

SmasherLink. You aren't making Entities. You said you had a team before, you lied and admitted it. And if you were making a game, shoehorning every single Creepypasta into it doesn't make it more scary. If you are absolutely dead set on making a Creepypasta game, don't use Slender, don't use Jeff, don't use Rake. Either make up your own or use one not beat like a dead horse.

then go to a creepypasta forum or somewhere where at least one other individual is willing to discuss "imscared"
