So I read the topic about those with MAJOR requests, and think that I have enough work to show, and commitment to the project that someone might want to help me out; I am still working on it, but don't have much time, and I'm not that good at animating. The original sprite sheet was made by someone else, so credit to that person (A.J.Nitro), but I edited the original sprites a lot. Anyway here is my work. Basically I want to know what is wrong with it, but mainly I would like someone to help me with this project, and make Glover as an expansion, or maybe even put him in the final version of the game as a random unlockable character, but I guess whoever is making this game already has a final rostor set up.. At least he would be original as no one else seems to have ever tried to make this guy into a fighting character, he is always overlooked. Who actually knows who this is anyway? Maybe there will be another Glover game down the line who knows.. He was such a great character though. So:

The neutral special might change, to a non-projectile attack, and I have ideas for the other attacks, just haven't sprited them yet; the forward smash should be a slap, and the up smash should be like his up throw. His up special is supposed to work like Sonic's, the ball would boost him up really high and do damage on the way down. Oh and his down special would be like Wario's bike, if he gets knocked off the ball then it becomes an item that can be picked up and thrown. Also, it should attack similar to megaman's black/white/grey projectile things that kind of push people towards and off the edge without doing too much damage, you see?

I need to double post just to make it load easier, hope that's ok.

removed This is just some random stuff + the original sprite sheet.
So, is anyone interested? I think he would fit in perfectly, as sort of an all around character, like Mario or something. So, hopefully one of you wants to help out, or take over the project, that is ok with me. I just don't have a lot of time but would really like to see him in the final game.
Thanks.

If you finish it, hope that one of the devs wants to make him as an expansion.

Anyone can make an expansion if they have Flash. It doesn't need to be a dev.

Yeah right, cool. But I was actually just wondering if someone wanted to help me complete the sprite sheet, because I don't have a lot of time anymore. So if anyone is interested, PM me and I can send over the rest of the work I've done on Glover, the best Nintendo character ever.

If you don't know what some of the animation tabs mean, I don't think you have any business making expansions.

Yes, that is sort of why I made this topic, to ask for help because I don't know everything.
So, does anyone want to help me or not? If not, well I will continue to work on it, but it will take ages.
I have other bits and pieces I didn't post on here, as well.
I think expansions will really help make this game successful, so everyone should feel like they could make one. Only, I've only ever played the original smash bros game on the Nintendo 64, so I don't really know what things like wall tech, sidestep, G&W ball etc are, hence why I asked for help.

All right, here you go. All taken from the New SmashWiki. A wall tech is a tech against a wall. To wall tech, the player must press a shield button 20 frames or fewer before hitting the wall while tumbling, reeling, or in hitstun. 20 frames after each press is a 40 frame downtime window where a wall tech cannot be done, so button mashing reduces the player's likelihood of teching. As with normal techs, the wall teching character experiences a few invincibility frames, and the tech absorbs the player's momentum. You cannot wall tech in SSB. (OBVIOUS) Air dodging is a technique in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl that does just as one would expect - it gives temporary invincibility frames to the user in the air, preventing attacks from hitting them. It has sometimes been described as sidestepping in midair. (OBVIOUS)Rolling is a maneuver that moves the character left or right and renders them invincible for a short period of time. It is performed by pressing the control stick left or right while holding a shield button. (OBVIOUS)Sidestepping (also known as "sidestep dodging", "spot dodging", "ground dodging", or simply "dodging") is a maneuver in Melee and Brawl that renders the character invincible for a split-second. Functionally similar to an air dodge, it is performed by pressing down while shielding, and can be employed to evade any and all harm of short duration. It is perhaps most useful in dodging projectiles and items along with quickly counter-attacking foes during the ending lag of their missed attack. (This is actually in Smash Bros. 64, so there is no excuse that you don't know this)A Tech, officially referred to as an Ukemi in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, is an action performed when the character hits the ground, a wall, or a ceiling while tumbling or in hitstun. To tech, the user must press the shield button 20 frames or fewer before hitting the surface; after that, a player won't be able to tech for 40 frames. Other button or control stick input can cause different types of techs. The wall jump is a technique some characters may use in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Brawl in which the one momentarily clings to the wall, turns away, and then jumps back. It is performed by touching a wall and then pressing the control stick or d-pad in the direction opposite the wall. In Brawl, it can also performed by pressing jump when touching a wall. A wall jumping character experiences a short period of invincibility at the moment he or she kicks off the wall. One cannot wall jump forever, as the height one gains from each successive wall jump decreases until they actually lose height.

http://ssf2expansions.motionforum.net/t2593-glover-64-again#57835http://www.spriters-resource.com/custom_edited/glover/sheet/16607 (this is the original sprite sheet) Well, I managed to find time to continue my expansion project. Have a look and tell me what you think, and what needs to be fixed. I want to make Glover a great expansion but I'm not really an expert on this kind of thing. Thanks.
