When I was into nu metal I wasn't a big fan of them but now that I'm not I recognize them as probably the best band in their scene
Shame I have no desire to listen to them

deftones, soad and incubus are the holy trinity of nu metal bands that aren't totally rotten arse though deftones is indie critic approved Serious Rock(TM) now so it's "okay" to like them

lmao they sounded like primus/mr bungle at some point and it's exactly as hilariously good as you would expect the scat rapping and turntable scratches cement it as a dated product of the 90s but it's still enjoyable fwiw
