I really wish major branching paths weren't advertised. There are no surprises in video games anymore.

I get that not advertising the split path would ruin the business model here, but it probably shouldn't have been two different games in the first place.

I find it weird spliting it like that considering we had almost 3 games in one with Fire Emblem: Sword of Flame and also Sacred Stones. I wish they don't make it a standard for future Fire Emblem games.

I hope they find a way to fix that before the NA release like how they released another version of Bravely Default in the west.

EDIT: Fire Emblem: IF will support Amiibo and has a rating of CERO (+15) in Japan. Maybe because of boob-lady idk or there's more than one boob-lady. Do you think by touching a Robin (Marth, Lucina, Ike) Amiibo we'll be able to play as him too?

weapon durability being removed isn't a bad thing if the game is balanced around it. Gaiden was like that, weapons were just equipped like a standard RPG

because people just played Awakening so they could marry an anime babe, they didn't give a f*** about the gameplay

and since Awakening sold a bunch and basically saved the franchise, they only need to appeal to the people who liked that game

that being said though, "complaining" about it is f*** stupid at the moment. don't complain, just laugh

when the game actually comes out and it's still easy as f*** even on Normal mode like Awakening was, THEN you can start complaining

Phoenix mode will really appeal to the newcomers, and probably get a lot of hate.
