I thought we as a forum already agreed not to discuss dragons in smahs
Re: pacman - He'd fit better than Lloyd on brand recognition alone (let's not forget that the Tales series is still rather obscure, and not even a blip next to Pac-Man), but Kyuub and friends are right in saying that he means basically f*** to Nintendo
That said, Snake's kind of the same way (legendary character that means f*** to Nintendo), so
disclaimer: i do not want Pac-Man in Sm4sh

I voted Snake (because i think he was a pretty interesting add in Brawl). And Pac Man (because, if i had to vote for two characters, Pac Man is the only other character im familiar with). Personally though, i think only Snake should return (out of that list) since he was already in Brawl, and im pretty sure people liked him as a character.

I would love pac man if he didn't have that dumb character design... imo, he just looks too "eh"
not a fan of it lol
I'd much prefer if he looked more retro, but if he makes it in, I'd assume Sakurai would want that too

Just look at Megaman. He's gone back a couple of designs, not to mention the ':O' jump face. I would assume Pac Man would be the same, but that's just my though.

He didn't go back a couple of designs. Mega Man has always looked like this. The other "designs" are different characters.

We've also been over how Snake doesn't count because he's only there because Kojima and Sakurai are friends and he was going to be in Melee but Kojima asked too late and all that

You can also argue that the s*** MG1 NES port gave the series some exposure before Solid was released I guess
it's not much but it's certainly more than f*** Pac-Man has

Keep in mnd that the only reason Snake was in Brawl was because his creator wanted him in Melee. Not to mention that that was a time when The Twin Snakes was being released on the Gamecube and Snake was actually relevant to Nintendo. (The only Metal Gear game on a Nintendo console since then was the 3DS port of Snake Eater so Snake hasn't been relevant to Nintendo in more than ten years.) IMHO, Snake's only hope of coming back is if Kojima asks Sakurai to bring Snake back for Smash 4. _________________
