In that to view what they are looking at on the 'who's online' section you gotta click 'View Bots'. Similar to the 'View Guests' thing. It's kinda annoying reading 'there are so and so people online' and then you look and the rest are bots except for you.

I sometimes notice that there are more bots than users

Er, what you're asking doesn't sound too easy, you want another link that says "View Bots"? I'd probably have to edit the forums source code for that

Yeah it's really hard to work out the permissions of bots. Where the other usergroups (including guests and standard members) have like a list of things they can and can't do (in the form of a series of checkboxes or something similar) bots don't. You'd have to edit the source to change what bots can and can't do.

Didn't you once mention it's rather easy to have them NOT appear in the "who's online" list? I'd take that over having a seperate link to them.

Changing their permissions is a different story, I'm not concerned about that.

Since they are technically "users" I might be able to change their profile settings to make them invisible. Admins (ands Mods as well possibility) might still be able to see them though.
