Shadow powers seem to be popular among noobs these days, I wonder why.
How can a shadow even hurt someone? Make them really pale, then suddenly exposing them to light, which slowly gives them skin cancer?

Because darkness is the new fire. No actually, I have no clue why people like dark powers, probably makes their character seem more mysterious and dark a la generic calm dark character.

You can use your shadow to make a fake clone of yourself. If you watch naruto and take a look at shikamaru he kicks a$$ with shadows. I use darkness but not alone, I fuse it with electrical abilities.

How can you make a clone with a shadow?! Shadows are just things that appear because of the lack of light! You're just using nothing! You might as well attempt to throw air at someone!

What?! Illusions?! You can only make something that's black since it doesn't have any light! You're supposed to use LIGHT to make illusions, by manipulating the rays of light in front of someone to reflect the exact colors of something!

You got me there. But still if you control shadows you control its form and can make it a solid and then into a weapon to stab or hit somebody, or even change it to an armor.

How can shadows become solid?! They're nothing to begin with! Try compressing a vacuum so much that it turns solid! You make no sense!
