Adding eggs helps bind it together
If it's too runny breadcrumbs can soak up some moisture, just be sure not to add too much otherwise it might be dry

What I did was ground up the beef myself, added some light soy sauce, egg, pepper and deep frying powder. In the pan they went. Delicious they came out.

Look, I cook at my dorm's restaurant. I make do with what they have. I occasionally might buy some hotdogs and bacon from the 7Eleven across the street but otherwise I don't buy my own ingredients.

Aside from the more uncommon meats like lamb, rabbit and venison
Pork and beef are cheapest
