Wait seriously, RPG easier than GM? I look differently, and I did try both.

Just thought id mention that RPG maker is easy for anyone above 8.
But that doesn't mean anyone above 8 can make a decent game...

The biggest problem with this program is the clichers, people who believe you cant have a game without someone who was born to save the world and falls in love with a princess.

GM
Game maker in my opinion is for people who want to make a fan game or just want to rip off someones coding from tutorials.
You learn almost nothing from it because its script is based all on itself. Meaning code = Functions on the program, there is absolutely no freedom with Game maker.
The only thing successful ive seen come from this program is a couple Mario ripoffs.

That map is f*** horrible.
Everything about it is s***.
Also that title screen is nauseating.
And the title itself is unoriginal and uncreative.
You call that getting good at coding and scripting? That's nothing but a lot of "Draw shapes"
and s*** sprites you downloaded.

You sir, know nothing of RPGs.

And there are MILLIONS of games with plots that are godly compared to the one you reduced the game's made with it to.

GM
Your opinion is s***.
Games that are better than most console games have been made with it.
Tutorials? You do know that all the tutorials do is tell you how to make platforming games and etc.

No freedom? Have you even PLAYED games made by GM?

Mario ripoffs? Really? The best? Go die. Now.
