Some of your knowledge about me is outdated Bomono. Some of those behaviors about me have since changed. You aren't wrong about how I feel about the neutral, even if I know how to do it. Mind you, some of the things you are talking about I alrdy do them all the time, but I can't get the commands right online, thus you see me play differently. Dair chains and planking are an example of something I do regularly offline. Often times I'll actually attempt to fastfall my attacks, especially bair, but nothing happens sometimes.

As for learning something new...you really don't know me at all do you? But you know better than that, we are some of the best Tails players that exist. We just play differently.

Anyone know how to cancel spindash consistently? (I presume it is the "fakie" mentioned by Godot above) Is it just doing spin dash and jumping at the same time?

EDIT: I think I get it now. You have to jump then immediately down b afterwards. Timing is kinda strictish though. I'll have to get used to it then.

In order to tailsdash, jump, down-b, release, jump in that order. In order to fakie, jump, down-b, jump.

Actually it isn't strict at all btw, you just have to land from an aerial down b (while still charging it of course); obviously it's faster/more useful if done the way you're saying.

Did you just- brb maining Tails ag- oh wait... This might be the most stylish way to edgrguard Ive seen yet. Small question because I dont know much about platform dropping while attacking: Can you do a DSmash or sonethig like an airbone USmash for extra style and salt?

So theoretically, you can do other tilts out of platform dropping with canceling DownB, its just that they're extremely hard considering you have to use down to platform drop and the window to perform anything is crazy short... however with that being said I have platform dropped into a dash attack before, I honestly cannot do it consistently but that brings me to my next point.

there are a few Techniques I rarely ever see anyone on here speak about or at least missed it during the time I wasn't around. No one talks about Canceling spindash into the run animation... In 9a you could triangle jump into the dash/run which was actually harder but here the basic spindash cancel can put you into the running animation, where you can dash attack. aaaand you can pivot into the running animation which will have you moonwalking (moongliding) which will lead to an automatic edgegaurd.

Moongliding leads to some interesting momentum things like bailing out into a ledgegrab after whiffing a pivot grab. Etc.

And May SideB rest in peace but Tails have quite a few techniques out of it noone speaks of. I wish it was balanced as opposed to just completely removed but whatevers Like doing a rising Fair out of a canceled SideB is gorgeous, it's probably his best raw approach option.. the hitbox is great, the KB trajectory is great and there's barely any lag on start up. (but you do have to worry about the endlag of Fair if you whiff)..

IDK why sideB couldn't just be 3 hits with a bunch of endlag & different properties for the third hit...
