So, some updates.
- The game takes place after Shantae and the Pirate's Curse. I guess this means she'll get her powers back at the end of the 3DS game.
- The lead animator for Skullgirls is on the team.
- So is Gigi D.G. If you don't know who that is, you should feel sorry for yourself, and also get acquainted with her work.

We just found out another part of the team for Shantae. It's Inti Creates, the game studio behind Mega Man 9 and 10, the entire Mega Man Zero and ZX series, and Mighty No. 9.

I just saw a preview of this game, I gotta say, it looks pretty decent. I may pick this up sometime. The others are good looking too im sure (i mean gameplay wise not graphically).

Oh, I forgot to mention this earlier, but we hit the stretch goal for Risky Mode. So now we can play a completely separate alternate story mode as our favorite pirate queen.

They're doing a crossover promotion with Hyper Light Drifter. Anyone who backs enough to get one game will get an exclusive side quest with a cameo from the other game.
Also, if you pledged enough to get the Tinkerbat transformation, you can add $15 to your pledge and get an extra copy of the game with an extra Tinkerbat code.
