First off, how cool would it be to be able to make your own theme for the site and submit it? Probably be difficult to make, though. But if someone here can figure it out, it'd be worth your while, don't you think?
Second, the MLG team (not Major League Gaming) should take a crack at making a Flash-based third person shooter. After seeing how SSF2 is playing out (I've lurked for quite a while) I think it'd be quite possible to make a good one.
Finally, I don't remember if Silverlight has to be Microsoft-approved, but it's much more powerful and applicable than Flash. It'd be cool if it could be optionally added to different games to make them better (the only problem is loading times, which aren't that bad anyways).
Anyways, that's the end of my odd theories on possible things to do.

We've already said no to new games and forum skins, and there's no reason to change from flash.

They were bluffing if they said no new games, ever. No one in their right mind would stop when they had everything to gain. Like I tried to specify before, Flash is good, but Silverlight is much more powerful and can be used for just about anything. The only thing that Flash has on Silverlight is loading times, which is why it'd be optional (they're not that long on most things anyways). For an example of what Silverlight could do... it could extend players per game, have better graphics, have tons more things going on, etc... someone could probably make a console-worthy game available only using Silverlight. See what I mean? If Cleod could get grips on it, his games would excel (not to imply they're not good now, but using Silverlight could mean McLeodGaming gets in the big leagues). Any way you look at it, it doesn't really matter. All of those were just opinions of possible things to throw in. It's not like I'm making a death threat.

So what you're saying is Cleod should scrap all his projects and redo them all but in a completely different language he may know nothing about.

Nope, although I wasn't very clear on what I meant, so good call - I meant that he try to learn Silverlight (or get some of the assistant developers to) and add it to new games. It would be a horrible idea to stop developing games just to add a new feature, but absolutely he should find a way to add it.

cleod already said no new games... he wasnt bluffing... also he also said no to themes plus the silverlight idea has no relevance to these forums so it shouldnt be put in the ideas section... Also, if you've been lurking for so long... You would of saw Cleod post himself that he doesnt want themes or another game..

#1 Ok, no to the forum skins, since there can be serious problems installing mods for every new skin we try to add. #2 I've thought of various types of third person games (not necessarily shooters) but this isn't something we should be discussing while SSF2 is still in progress #3 I HATE Silverlight, don't even get me started. Not only is it a horror to develop in, Flash is much easier and can be just as capable thanks to AS3. Just look at these statistics and take a look at how many people in the world even have it installed to begin with http://riastats.com/#I don't even think I have the Silverlight player installed on this computer, never needed it for a single thing.

Silverlight has issues with macs. I have not had a single keyboard-based silverlight application I have tried work correctly on my macbook.
